11/28/2024 5:43 AM Its definitely a lot stronger than I expected. Im really happy with it. I upgraded when my original rechargeable toothbrush ran out of replacement heads and I couldnt find any. I thought the OralB would be a better choice because they have an almost endless supply of replacement heads. Even though I dont have one anymore, I dont have to worry about having a special head for a specific model and I really liked how it converted from a regular sized brush to a full round brush, it was weird at first but now that Ive gotten used to it, I can actively brush each tooth individually with the entire brush. Its a lot of pain compared to my last brushing so my gums are still a little sore after the switch, but I know its a good pain because my teeth have never been cleaner. They actually look a little whiter. The two minute timer is really handy because I dont have to concentrate any more than just getting to each tooth, and for someone who never likes to pay attention, its perfect. I can watch Netflix on my laptop and turn it off until I remember that my teeth are all clean, and Im not just compensating for how long I brush. For such a cheap price, I expected lower quality, but I dont think Ive ever had a better brush. Since I wasnt necessarily looking for high quality brushes, this may not seem like a big deal, but I think these are great. Its clean and simple, fits well in the charger, charges quickly, and seems to be completely waterproof so I dont have to worry about saliva accidentally getting into the brush itself and ruining everything. Overall, this is a great device that has changed the way I brush my teeth and how clean they are. I would definitely recommend these to anyone, especially for the price.

Cleans well etc. I find the retractable power button hard to press as you dont get any tactile feedback when you find it other than a slight delay when turning it off. As for travel... Electric toothbrushes are larger than manual ones so take up more space in your bag etc. I do a lot of hiking etc so anything electric wouldnt work for me anyway. So I just brought an old fashioned manual toothbrush which will do in a pinch.

11/20/2024 9:59 AM The timer is weird and inexplicable. Six months ago, my dental hygienist told me that the only way to improve my oral hygiene was to switch to a good electric toothbrush. She didnt want to recommend a specific brand, but she said she would definitely give me a 2minute timer. I went to Consumer Reports and found that the ones they really liked were pretty expensive, so I installed them and then forgot about them. This time, my dental hygienist relented and recommended the Vitality, which I found for under 30. I was very happy to see that this generation of electric toothbrushes doesnt need a big box, just a small charger. The instructions were a little confusing and there was no clear indication that there was a timer or how to use it. However, the word Timer is printed next to the onoff switch. The first time I used the brush, about 75 minutes had passed when the brush pulsed for a second. I think thats the timer. Since then, it has happened every time I touch it. I am glad that I brushed my teeth for a good two minutes all this time. Update 5712 After more than half a year, I can say that my teeth and gums are definitely healthier. My dental hygienist told me that my mouth is very clean. I really like using this product. It is definitely easier to use than a manual toothbrush. It is practical and comes with an extra brush head. I have now upgraded to the extra sensitive brush heads, which are gentler on the gums while still keeping my teeth just as clean. The charge actually lasts for several days, so you can just leave the charger at home for short business trips or weekends. If I were really serious about oral hygiene, I would even take this to work every day, since it is not at all big or heavy.

11/13/2024 9:53 AM How do I even begin a review of the OralB Smart 1500 Toothbrush As I sit at this computer, my jaw hurts from trying to fit the absolutely gigantic brush head into my mouth, and toothpaste runs unsightly down my face from the hurricane of foam the brush throws everywhere. Is my keyboard waterproof I can only lament the unfortunate series of stupid life decisions that culminated in this chaotic but perfect moment. This brush is deeply flawed and truly awful. Its absolutely pathetic, a true violation of human rights by a consumer electronic product. The positive reviews here simply astound me. I can only imagine that they are coming from people who have never used another electric toothbrush, or even any toothbrush at all. The OralB makes a noise in your head like a garbage disposal, the filthy nozzle is too big to fit comfortably in the average persons mouth, causing a foamy mixture of toothpaste and saliva to accumulate everywhere, and the large, poorly designed loading port at the base is very difficult to clean, making it a great place for the aforementioned toothpaste foam. The battery lasts about a week with normal use, and there are no visible, audible, or tactile indicators to remind users to charge the battery when its low. The brush stops working one day, usually when traveling, of course. Its really an abomination and an insult to all types of oral care products, in all places, throughout history. I switched from a Sonicare to this brush because I wanted to try something new and read positive reviews online. As mentioned above, Im stunned by how bad this brush is and how acceptable seemingly reasonable people can find it. This is a fundamentally and irreparably terrible product. It is literally inferior in every way to any other toothbrush known to man, even imaginary ones. Other objects within reach that will clean your teeth as well as an Oral B fingers, toes, a pine cone, a pen, a fork OK, that might be a little worse, and a cat is undoubtedly unpleasant to all, but so is using an Oral B. Oral B claims to offer a moneyback guarantee, but this turns out to be as disappointing as the brush itself. You have to call a number and desperately try to get return instructions and an address to send your used brush to, while an automated voice bombards you with information faster than a human can process it, let alone write it down. Be prepared to call that number and listen to the same lecture 34 times to get all the information. Why this couldnt simply be posted somewhere on their website is beyond me, but I suspect no one would be keeping these brushes if it were easier to take OralB at their word regarding their supposed satisfaction guarantee. In fact, several websites have posted the call details, but OralB seems to change their address every few weeks which is not suspicious at all, so any information you find online is likely out of date. In any case, its all for naught unless you have the box the despised item came in, with the UPC still intact. Robovoice is very clear on this point no UPC, no refund. Also, refunds are by address, so if you were unfortunate enough to purchase multiple units for different members of your household, only one of you will be entitled to financial compensation for their satisfaction. Having thrown away the UPC like a normal person, I was unable to return the brush to the infamous manufacturer and had to find another use for it. As a result, I now have a toilet bowl cleaner from the 70s. Of course, the OralB Smart is much better for this purpose than for brushing teeth. The brush head, while too big for all but the most pathological human mouth, fits well under the visor. I would recommend eye protection in this case.

We were out of town recently and I took my regular toothbrushes with me instead. HUGE mistake. Our teeth werent as clean, polished, or beautiful when using oldfashioned toothbrushes. These Oral B Pulsar toothbrushes are the best.

The bristles are arranged to provide a very thorough cleaning of the teeth and spaces between them. In my personal experience, it cleans teeth much better than a traditional electric toothbrush. That definitely means MUCH better. I have only had it for a few weeks, so I cant comment on the longevity of the product, but it seems to be of the same quality as all OralB products.

Im very happy with this toothbrush. It cleans very well and the timer is a nice feature too. I was a little concerned about the size of the handle as its a little bigger than my previous electric toothbrush. But its fine, no issues with handling or weight. For the price, its a great value. The black color is also really cool.

It arrived quickly, which I appreciated. What I like about the brush is the builtin timer and two speeds. The lower speed ensures less pressure on the gums due to the cleaning effect. What I dont like Their thin and elegant appearance contradicts their function. The handle is wider at the bottom and narrower at the top, which makes it difficult to hold. The handle also becomes very slippery when wet, just like the toothbrush, making it very difficult to hold. The onoff switch is almost flush with the rest of the handle, so it is difficult to find with your finger to change the gear or turn it off. I had to add tape to better identify the switch. Overall, I will keep it because it cleans well, but I cant recommend it highly enough.

I completely disagree. Although it looks like an electric toothbrush, I dont think its too loud. It works as advertised, you can unplug it and it will stay charged for days. I am completely happy with this toothbrush, I have been using it for four years now. I also bought these toothbrushes as gifts. Everyone told me they would buy them for their family too.

I chose this one because I wanted the timer feature, but it also has multiple speed options, which is great if you have sensitive teeth. I also like that the red light on the bottom of the brush head lights up when youre pressing too hard on an area. Its a little noisy, but thats my only issue. Its a great toothbrush and I would buy it again.

The different modes are great, but I am not sure how realistic they are. I like the look of the button, plus the 2 minute timer. The color is beautiful, I like having a soft pink toothbrush. It works very well. It feels like I just had another cleaning at the dentist. My teeth are so clean. I think it is great that there are so many replacement heads. The heads are unique and as described. It comes fully charged, so that is great. I expected to have to charge it during the day before I could use it. I have not had to use the charger yet, so I can not say how quickly it charges. Overall, the price was great, as it looks good and works great.

9/2/2024 11:17 AM This is exactly what I was looking for in an electric toothbrush. My mom bought me one when I was in high school and we used it for years. I wanted to get it again because I missed it in recent years. I like the smaller head because it allows me to access the back of my molars and work around them better, and they definitely feel much cleaner for a longer period of time than with a manual toothbrush. The charging station is small and doesnt take up much space, and the cord is long enough that I can place it up high where my little ones cant reach it. I havent tested how long the charge lasts, but I usually leave it on overnight and dont worry about it running out of power. I like the builtin timer that runs for two minutes, then the brush stops and turns on a few times to let you know the two minutes are up. It will stay on if you want to continue brushing, though. The button is very easy to turn on and off and is completely enclosed so you can rinse the whole unit. It comes with two brush heads, one already on the unit and one individually wrapped, which is handy as it means I dont have to buy replacement heads as quickly. My kit also came with a coupon for replacement heads and the ability to go online and register the toothbrush and get another coupon in the mail. Im still waiting for the coupon to arrive in the mail, which says 36 weeks for delivery. But thats more than enough time before you have to buy replacement heads.

Other than that, it has made a huge difference to my gum health. As my dentist says, I brush too hard and my gums hurt. This literally does all the work for me, and I dont have to worry about being too rough.

So, Ill get straight to the point. Instead of bringing an Oral B because its flimsy and takes up a lot of space, we bought a Colgate rechargeable toothbrush and had to make do. So I decided to take advantage of Prime Days and bought this sonic toothbrush. Im thrilled with the quality and how it works. Its truly portable and cleans like a charm. I highly recommend this purchase because its worth it even if its not Prime Day.

8/16/2024 9:28 PM use it regularly but this product gets a zero in my eyes for ecofriendliness because its not clear if you can unscrew the handle counterclockwise to remove the AAA battery before throwing it away. Also thanks for missing out on just selling replacement heads for this toothbrush because you dont have to throw away the motor and battery handle. I will be looking for other ways to reuse this toothbrush instead of throwing it away and I will also be looking for others who have found ways to recycle it instead of throwing it in a landfill because it is not recyclable unless you take it apart into its basic components.

It comes with six brush heads that are just the right amount of soft. The timer is very good. You dont have to guess when the 30 seconds and 2 minutes are up. Its easy to charge and the brushes last a long time. My teeth are very clean. The brushes are a bit ticklish after the first few uses but they do the job very well. I bought two myself and would recommend them to everyone I know. Such a great deal. I will keep buying them as long as I can.

For some reason my pink toothbrush stopped working after a few months, but luckily it broke during the warranty period and the company replaced it. Once again my pink toothbrush no longer works so I am buying another one. Oddly enough my husbands black toothbrush has not had any issues since 2022. I dont know if the quality varies depending on the color, but either way it is a quality toothbrush. The only issue I have is that the buttons are sensitive and this toothbrush is almost always on when traveling. I wish it came with a case. Otherwise it is a sturdy toothbrush and my teeth feel really clean after brushing with it.

8/6/2024 7:22 AM had my last Oralb almost 8 years ago and loved it. Unfortunately, this toothbrush is so poorly designed that I feel bad throwing away the packaging or I would have returned it. The onoff button on the toothbrush is pressed and wont stay in place. Its hard to turn on while using, but nearly impossible to turn off when wet. I almost dropped it a few times and sprayed toothpaste everywhere when I tried to turn it off. Another minor design quibble is that the toothbrush and included brush head are a sleek black, while the charging base and power cord are bright white. It works great and my teeth feel amazingly clean, but its a pain to use. Dont buy this stupid thing.

Frankly, I find the more expensive models where the app tracks your brushing on your phone a bit ridiculous. So this model is simple, has three speeds, is a bit noisy, but is quite powerful and very fast. I found the recessed power button not particularly responsive. Because of the recessed position, it is easy to not press the button all the way. And at 80 euros for such a simple model, it may be a bit expensive. But its quality is undeniable.

And the battery life is about a month, including a period of about a week where the timer wont work properly due to low battery. I cant believe they split their battery life rating by 10 for something with such a predictable lifespan.

7/17/2024 2:14 PM bought this toothbrush because I drink a lot of green tea and a regular toothbrush does not work well on tea stains. This toothbrush does a good job of removing tea stains, so I give it 5 stars. However, two things about this product lower my rating to 3 stars. First, the handle is too slippery when wet and continues to slide while brushing. A nonslip material like rubber would prevent the constant sliding when wet. Second, the pulsation signals the user to move to another area of the teeth. This is so unnecessary. It is smart to move to another part of the tooth and not stay there for too long. The same goes for other models that offer a smart toothbrush with an app. If you NEED something to tell you to move to another part of your teeth, you will have bigger problems. In my opinion, this feature is a big waste of money. Id rather have a toothbrush with a rubber handle and at least a few speeds. Maybe a pulse function might be helpful for a child just learning how to brush, but the rest of us dont need to be told when to move on. I feel like I paid too much for a toothbrush that constantly slips out of my hands and pulses without doing any real good.

7/14/2024 5:40 PM Overall, I am very happy with this purchase, which replaces an old OralB toothbrush that was starting to show signs of wear after about 10 years. My old one was much thinner and I preferred it, but this new one seems to do a much better job of cleaning between my teeth and the tight spaces behind my molars. I almost look forward to my next professional cleaning so they can tell me how great my teeth look and ask me what I do differently, haha. Seriously, at the risk of sounding rude, I have even noticed that the floss I use AFTER I brush my teeth is almost completely clean. To me, this means that my new toothbrush is actually getting into those tight spaces. The less positive thing is that this monster is VERY noisy and on normal speed it feels like I am sandblasting my mouth. So I just use the gentle speed. This speed is still loud and noisy, but I feel like I have less risk of damaging my gums and also avoid splashes that can land on my bathroom mirror, walls, sink and the next room. I CANNOT LOL. Another suggestion to the manufacturer please design a holdercharger that can be mounted on the wall. My previous model did this and the toothbrush did not land on the vanity surface, which I find more hygienic and a much better use of space. I recommend this toothbrush if you want perfectly clean teeth. Get used to it to avoid the aforementioned splashes. Personal equipment is absolutely necessary. I ordered them in blue, I dont really like the pale shade, but thats not the point.

It is tartar free and very low in plaque, but this brush is sticky. If you rinse the brush well, the handle will remain sticky and there will be nasty toothpaste residue in the holder. Rinse well and the handle will remain sticky. My wife is very careful and this sticky residue does not flake off and does not bother her.

The battery cover on the bottom is sometimes very difficult to remove, which is frustrating. That would be my only complaint. Otherwise, Im very happy.

I finally found one, but I hadnt had my teeth cleaned by a dental hygienist in years, so I was dreading the outcome of my first appointment. The dental hygienist advised me to keep doing what I was doing because my teeth were so clean. I owe this result partly to years of dental hygiene, which included daily flossing, but also partly to the fact that I added OralB Pulsar toothbrushes. This is the first toothbrush I look forward to using 23 times a day because it actually WORKS.

6/20/2024 4:24 PM This is a great toothbrush but every good product has its downsides. I have only had the brush for 2 days. Cons 1. The packaging is a bit disappointing. When I opened the box, the brush handle looked dirty and worn. However, after a closer inspection, it turns out that the handle is actually the packaging material. So you have to wipe it with a damp cloth to remove the items. Maybe a white toothbrush is a better alternative so you dont see much. I bought the black one because you always know when its clean. Another reviewer showed pictures so I wont do that. 2. This big box only has 1 brush head which is very disappointing for such a big box. When I received it, I thought maybe I should have bought a cheaper model. Water gets into the area where you insert the brush head. Therefore, as another reviewer said 4, there may be a risk of mold if you dont wipe the handle and brush head properly after each use. The price is pretty high for what I want. I just care about the daily cleaning option so if youre like me youre better off with a cheaper toothbrush. Pros 1. The brush head is quality and doesnt feel cheap. 2. The daily cleaning option is the best and feels like Im at the dentist getting my teeth cleaned. I had a terrible experience with a cheap electric toothbrush from Walmart but Im glad I got it because I actually enjoy brushing my teeth for probably the first time in my life lol. 3. The long handle is great and helps reach my molars that I wasnt very good at brushing. 4. Brushing is fun and easy now. 5. The timer. I thought I wouldnt like the timer but it reminds me to change other parts of my mouth and you can restart the brush every time you reach the 2 minute mark and multiple passes for a deeper clean. I highly recommend this toothbrush and wish I had started using one when I was younger.

Dental hygiene is my business. This toothbrush was recommended to me for two reasons I have naturally receding gums, and I sometimes breathe through my mouth when I sleep, which increases the risk of plaque buildup. THIS TOOTHBRUSH HAS SOLVED BOTH PROBLEMS. I learned directly from my dental hygienist and dentist that my gum recession has stabilized and that mouth breathing while I sleep causes virtually no plaque buildup. The pressuresensitive red light comes on when you brush too hard to alert you to reduce the pressure. The battery life is excellent. I brush my teeth for the entire duration of the builtin timer, three times a day, and I havent really noticed the battery drain. I instinctively charge it once a week, and then Im ready to go. Buy this toothbrush and you wont regret it.

When I looked at the many models available, I was disappointed that it did not come with a brush holder. My old Oral B had a holder for two brush heads built into the charging station. As mentioned in other reviews, it is very slippery to use when wet. The handle should be made or coated with a material that provides a better grip. Overall, it does the job.

I assumed I had a defective item and ordered another one on 310624. I received a new one and it did not work right out of the box. At the same time my husband started having the same problems. I tried to arrange a return but was unable to. Had to contact the manufacturer directly. OralB does not allow you to talk to a live person. An automatically generated message explains how to return the item within 60 days. You must return each product individually IN the original packaging with the UPC symbol. Who keeps the original packaging for 60 days You must pay return shipping and they will refund you up to 20.00 IF you include the shipping receipt in the box. The refund is in the form of a gift card. None of this is worth my time. I just threw them away. Will look for a product from another manufacturer. Very disappointed, I will not cover the return costs. My advice avoid this product. Save your money.

After using this toothbrush for a few months I can say that overall I am very happy with it and my teeth definitely feel cleaner than when brushing manually. My light stains from coffeetea have become a little lighter but unfortunately have not disappeared completely. However I think it prevents further staining. This is not a big negative but my main criticism of the toothbrush is that the charging base gets dirty easily and constantly gets water stains. Pros The lithium battery was at the top of my list of must haves when buying an electric toothbrush. I just leave it on the charging dock when not in use and have never had any issues with the battery life. No new stains on my teeth, good for coffee and tea lovers. The timer is very convenient and lets you know with a light when you are pressing too hard. Cons The charging station is made of a material that stains water and gets dirty easily. It is definitely noisy, but I think all electronic toothbrushes are like that. It does not come with a brush guard, which I would have liked for hygiene reasons. However, it was easy to find and buy.

My dental exams have been great and it does a great job of removing tartar and plaque. Most of the time it takes 2 weeks between charges but sometimes up to a week.

4/3/2024 7:12 AM My old electric toothbrush needed replacing. After reading the reviews, this product seemed like a good choice. Wow, I am happy with the purchase. It has two settings. Basically high and what I would call medium. It has a lot of power, maybe too much. The high setting is quite powerful, so I used the lower setting, which worked great. I gave it 4 stars because 1. The battery lasts about 2 weeks, but there is no warning when it is low. It would be nice if there was an LED flashing or something. and 2. there is a notch on the power supply to turn the toothbrush on and off, but the button itself is just a little deeper than the notch. I have had it freeze a few times and not be able to turn it off. Neither of these issues will stop me from buying the toothbrush in the future when it needs replacing. Just minor inconveniences. I have already purchased a second one. Both work equally well. There is also a circular LED that lights up red when the toothbrush detects too much pressure. This is a really cool feature. At this point, I would say this is a very good toothbrush for the price.

Plug it in and it cleans my teeth beautifully while I brush. One issue is that there is no visual confirmation of a low battery. It slows down over time, so its a guess as to when it needs replacing. You can certainly appreciate this, but it would be useful to have a threshold that tells you when performance is declining. I would also like to be able to offer the same or different colors so that two family members dont mix up the toothbrushes. However, these are minor issues as this is a great alternative to boring electric toothbrush chargers.

3/24/2024 11:26 PM bought this to have an electric toothbrush in the downstairs bathroom and the master bathroom upstairs. Its not quite compatible with my upstairs toothbrush. It seems to have more force when it scrubs. There are three or four speed levels. I say three or four because sometimes when I turn it off I have to press the power button three times to turn it off completely, and sometimes four times.

3/23/2024 10:14 PM I have loved every Oral B electric toothbrush I have ever had and this one works great. However, it is so loud that I wondered if there was something wrong. A family member recently bought the same model and said it was also noisy, so I hope it is ok and lasts a long time. I dont think I would buy this model again as it works as well as other quieter models I have had.

3/18/2024 7:41 PM My last Oral B toothbrush died. It wasnt until I bought a new one that I realized how well it works. Anyone who has never used one would swear theyve never brushed their teeth so thoroughly. Highly recommended.

3/11/2024 5:43 PM thought I was getting a dual action toothbrush and instead I bought this one. It said it would come with different heads so I thought, ok, my old one is 20 years old and it doesnt hold a charge as well as it used to. I love these Oral B toothbrushes. They really do last a long time and are worth every penny. Back to the current review I love this one with the floss head. Its amazing. I cant imagine it being any less fantastic than the last one and the first charge lasted over a week when I tried to charge it before it ran out.

3/8/2024 2:17 AM This toothbrush arrived a little later than expected which was a bit of a disappointment but it arrived with no damage to the product or packaging so I am happy with that. When I opened the large product packaging I noticed what looked like dust or dirt in the power button area but it was cleanable with a damp cloth. It looked like someone had shaved their beard off so that was a bit of a concern to me at first. This seems to be a bit of a lower quality product compared to the one I bought for my son but I am sure my daughter will love it. I was a bit shocked that the entire body of this product is light pink and not just the power button area which I really liked in the photo so I made a bit of a sad face there down. I really hope she likes the pink colour otherwise she will be able to brush her teeth even with the lights off and pretend it is not just pink. The toothbrush has a red pressure indicator which is very handy considering a lot of people are too aggressive with their teeth and try too hard. for cleaning enamel When you turn on the device, it works at full power, but has two additional power settings when you press the power button again. With each press, the power of the brush head decreases, so you can find a more suitable setting. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, although I was a little surprised by what I expected and what I got.

3/4/2024 2:06 AM got it in early May 2024 and it was great. It was really easy to clean and I loved the timer feature. However, about a week ago, today, June 26, 2024, the toothbrush started malfunctioning and the part that spins the toothbrush stopped in the middle of brushing. The timer no longer works. I can no longer get a refund and thats a shame. Maybe I just had a bad case, but Ill say it.

3/2/2024 4:52 PM love Oral B electric toothbrushes and have been loyal to the brand since they came out. My old one gave up after a few years and I recently purchased the 1500. Wow, the difference in performance is noticeable. It was like driving a Lamborghini after having an old VW Beetle. The speed options are great with two settings and I am amazed at how well it removes coffee stains from my teeth. Very impressive. Caveats The handheld has a timer which I ignore like every other Oral B I have owned, but the onoff switch is a complete disaster for me. Firstly, the only thing you can see is the timer button. The gear shift and onoff area is just below but there is no clear indicator, it is just a general area to press. Secondly, it is really hard to squeeze, unlike my old toothbrush, so I have to hold it with both hands and try to find the perfect spot to squeeze it. My hands are weak from arthritis. Another downside is that the handheld device is made of hard, smooth plastic. There is no significant grip area to prevent my hand from slipping if the device gets wet. My old toothbrush had silicone tips that kept my hand exactly where it needed to be despite the drips. I never had any issues with the old model. So I wonder if these are two design flaws or if I just got a model that is very difficult to turn off. I may write to the company about this as the issue is so severe that without the speed and cleaning capability I would immediately send it back as the onoff function is incomplete and difficult to use and there is no handle. It is the case that keeps my hand from slipping while using. That is why I gave it four stars. I am still very impressed with its ability to remove stains from teeth... if only it were not so slippery in my hand and so difficult to remove.

3/2/2024 12:41 AM This product without Bluetooth cleans well, feels sturdy and well made. I need to get used to the pressure function because I easily brush too hard. Good to know. It seems to work better than a regular toothbrush, thats for sure. Im sure Ill be happy with it if I use it longer and see more results. I had to wait two weeks for delivery and I hope it was worth it. Its thinner and more compact than I thought, even more so than the electric toothbrushes from my childhood when I last had one. I think Ill like it. It seems easy to carry and take with me. Practical and useful for more professional cleaning.

2/27/2024 5:51 PM After twenty years, the battery in my old OralB rechargeable toothbrush is too weak to do the job. I would have replaced the battery, but it was well soldered. Poor design, probably intentional. I went with the one that uses regular AA batteries. I am very pleased with the performance. Pros The replacement heads from the old toothbrush fit easily into the new one. The only downside is that the batteries only last 23 weeks. Keep in mind that I am away from home 23 days a week and do not carry a toothbrush with me. But that is the ONLY downside.

2/24/2024 7:23 PM used to have a rechargeable version of this toothbrush, but I moved and didnt want the charger sitting on my desk, so I bought the rechargeable version. They actually look the same except for the battery. The rechargeable version came with NiMH batteries, and this version came with alkaline batteries. The alkaline batteries dont last long, so I replaced them with NiMH and now theyre the same as the rechargeable ones. The only difference is that I have to take the batteries out to charge them, and I got higher mAh batteries that dont need to be charged as often as the batteries that come with the rechargeable version.

2/21/2024 5:10 PM My dentist recommended I get a round head toothbrush. I had an old rechargeable electric toothbrush for years and the battery eventually died. The fact that this toothbrush is not plugged in but battery powered encourages me to use it, maybe even more than recommended lol. 1010, highly recommended.

2/20/2024 1:17 PM ordered this electric toothbrush after being disappointed with the durability of the Phillips brushes I had previously purchased. It is similar to the equipment my dental hygienist uses during the polishing phase of his treatment. I find it cleans a little better than my old machine. The annoying downside to the new unit is that liquid drips from the handle onto your hand, which did not happen with the Phillips unit. The switch is a little hard to find, but it is a minor issue. I have only had this unit for about a month, so I cannot comment on its durability.

People with large hands will have a hard time holding it because of its small size, and the body is quite slippery. The switch is also difficult to use. I wanted it to be white, but when I chose the white option, the pattern changed. I usually dont care, but I wouldnt be able to use all the brushes I have.

2/16/2024 11:30 PM As other reviews have said, I found it a little difficult to clean. I use Aquafresh toothpaste, its not the best and leaves a lot of residue. It might be better if I used a gel toothpaste, Ill try that in the future. But the residue gets stuck in the grooves of the brush and you cant see it when its wet. I rinse it off and think its gone, but when it dries I can see it all over the toothbrush. The part where the head of the toothbrush is also collects residue that I have to clean off every now and then. The charging base is a little dirty and I have to wipe it off too, but thats the case with a lot of electric toothbrushes. I think it looks pretty basic, but the price is very good. I doubt spending another 100 on a toothbrush will make your teeth THAT cleaner. Youre basically paying for it to look a little more grown up and professional. I used to have problems with aggressive brushing. I got into trouble with the dentist because I brushed so hard that my gums would bleed and recede. This was while brushing manually. I still have to remember not to press the toothbrush too hard on my teeth as it can damage them. However, it was easier to brush gently. Since the head rotates on its own, I know I am getting a good clean, allowing me to relax and move it easily over my teeth. I still struggle with aggressive brushing sometimes, but it has improved dramatically. My teeth are definitely cleaner and my gums are happier with this toothbrush.

1/29/2024 11:58 PM This is a good electric toothbrush, but the biggest downside is that every day after use I have to remove the brush head from the base to clean and dry the motor at the base. This can be tricky, but I recommend this product and also bought a few covers for the head to protect the brush.

1/29/2024 6:18 PM wanted to wait until after my dentist appointment to write this review. I bought this toothbrush right after my last dentist appointment, so I used it for a full 6 months between visits. During those 6 months, I felt like it cleaned my teeth better, but I wanted to see how the dentist appointment went. All I can say is, Wow, I went to the same dentist and the same dental hygienist. The dental hygienist noticeably scraped and scraped my teeth less and spent less time under the water. I can now say that the Oral B actually cleans my teeth better than the Sonicare.

I like it better than the disposable head version I used, which would sometimes fall out in my mouth while brushing. 1/28/2024 5:35 AM So far I have been impressed with the Pulsar toothbrushes. They seem to clean very well and the Pulsar toothbrush effect is definitely good for the gums. We bought these for travel so I think they will be great. I dont know how long the battery will last as we are still using it. I noticed that you can separate the bottom half to reveal the AAA battery but it doesnt seem to be replaceable.

1/27/2024 1:05 AM bought this toothbrush when the Oral B I had been using for years no longer worked. There were many options and I went with this model. I was very impressed. It was relatively inexpensive and provided a clean comparable to a dentist. The handle is lightweight and easy to operate and the variable speed allows for a variety of cleanings. It doesnt have the features of more expensive models, but to be honest, many of those features are rarely used. In my experience, OralB products are very durable and last a long time, and this brush is no exception. If youre in the market for a new toothbrush, try this one, youll thank me later.

1/25/2024 5:55 AM This brush works well and is easy to use with a little practice. I found the included circular brush useful. There are also some very helpful videos on YouTube that provide excellent instructions on how to use the brush effectively. Installation and charging are easy and my dentist will be glad I finally have one.

1/21/2024 10:16 AM Ordered to replace old electric toothbrush. I like that the brush head rotates itself while my precious one vibrates. I feel like this toothbrush provides a more thorough clean. The bristles are soft and dont irritate my gums. Battery life seems good. I like that there is a built in timer.

1/8/2024 3:33 PM Bought this specifically for travel. Its definitely not as powerful as an electric toothbrush with sealed batteries, but it seems to get the job done. The battery life is rated at 69 months, but that seems a bit vague without mentioning how often you use it during that time. I recently took it on a 2.5 week trip and it held up very well when used twice a day, about 3 minutes per use.

But Ive always had issues with corded electric toothbrushes and the weird angles I had to brush at with the cord. This one works wonders for me. I havent had any issues. Please only dispose of it when empty.

12/28/2023 4:59 AM First off, I rarely give 5 stars. I love these toothbrushes. We have been using this brand for years. They used to be available at Costco Sams but now they push expensive sonic toothbrushes on you. Dont fall for it. These are hands down the best. If you are wondering if it is worth paying extra for a regular toothbrush, dont. These are definitely worth it. I think they are even better than sonic toothbrushes. It feels like my teeth are brushed, polished and flossed all in one go. I like the tapered head, I have a smaller mouth and they reach all the way to the end. The silicone grips on the end really help with brushing especially if the end gets wet. We also tried the battery operated round head toothbrush not so much. They are mediocre but these are much better in my opinion. We also tried the Wally World version, they are good in a pinch but this is the brand for us. So I buy extra so I never go without it. Buy them and try them, you will see the difference. I noticed it mostly on the inside of my teeth after brushing them most of the time since I first used them. Yes, we have had bad batteries from time to time, but it is rare. We replace them regularly, usually long before the battery dies. If the battery breaks, just put a new battery in. If this happens, you will have to unscrew the battery to turn it off. But this rarely happens. Honestly, I have not opened this particular purchase yet. But I buy them regularly. I will let you know if we have any problems.

12/17/2023 1:27 AM hate brushing my teeth as my wife will tell you but I have been brushing more often since I got this toothbrush. It uses a AAA battery which I have yet to replace. I had a more expensive electric toothbrush but it broke when liquid got into it and damaged the battery and connectors. So I was basically looking for water to avoid getting to the battery which is not the case. Another thing I didnt like about my old bulky electric toothbrush was how small the bristle area was. It was just a circle. As you can see from the photo it is a full size brush. The downside is that you cant replace the head. You have to buy a new toothbrush when it gets old. But it is still cheaper than replacing the head of my expensive old toothbrush. Plus I think that is why it is waterproof. In fact, the vibration is fast but gentle, so I use it like a regular toothbrush, moving my hand back and forth rather than letting it do all the work. The point is that it gives me more motivation to brush than my dear old electric toothbrush, and definitely more motivation than a regular manual toothbrush.

12/7/2023 8:16 AM got 2 of these for myself and my partner for a holiday. One worked great but the other had a weak connection with the battery. We then tried opening and closing the broken one but our spot repair didnt do much. My partner threw them away before I could return them. The one that worked was noticeably softer than the regular electric toothbrush we use at home. This is understandable as this travel electric toothbrush only runs on a small battery. I like how lightweight it is, easy to store and easy to load. The problem is that there is no way to replace the battery. The broken one meant we had to open the base to see if we could fix the problem. We thought the battery was dead so we tried replacing it but there doesnt seem to be a way to remove it. This is annoying as it creates unnecessary waste where you could just replace the battery. Erg.

I really like Oral B and it is one of the best I have but this model is a duplicate of an existing one and is for everyday use. The price is reasonable and I have had no trouble finding replacement heads. I like the ability to change brushes, I think it is a better and more hygienic approach.

12/6/2023 5:18 AM The seller did a great job, arrived early, original packaging, everything is in order. The first advanced electric toothbrush I had, I had already bought the 8battery model. I thought it would be gentle, especially since my dentist recommended it for gum problems after telling me for years that I brushed too aggressively. Instead, it feels like a jackhammer in your mouth, even on the gentle cycle. Be warned, this is NOT an easy experience, it takes some getting used to.
