11/18/2024 12:41 PM think the battery lasts 2 weeks on a charge, but it actually lasts 45 days before the charging light starts flashing. I am disappointed with the battery life. It still has a little bit of charge left for a few days, but it wont last 2 weeks, which is quite reasonable for a lithiumion battery in a small electric device that will be used for 45 days. It takes 68 hours to fully charge. Otherwise, this is a great toothbrush, the best on the market in my opinion. My teeth have never been so clean. The gum massage option is good and the timer is impeccable. I also like the feature that warns you if you are applying too much pressure while brushing. One of the main reasons I chose Philips and an automatic toothbrush in general. The enamel on some of my teeth was worn down from overbrushing with hard bristled toothbrushes. For years, I didnt even realize this was the cause until we discussed it at a dental cleaning appointment. So, this toothbrush will solve your problem if you tend to brush your teeth too hard. It will take some time to get used to an automatic toothbrush, especially if you have never used one before. When the plastic handle touches your teeth while brushing, it feels like you are breaking a tooth. This has never happened to me. After all, tooth enamel is considered stronger than bone, so plastic cannot break it. It is just a weird feeling. With a little practice, I learned to just let the bristles glide over the surface of my teeth and avoid contact with the brush handle. I am glad I chose this brush. I have had it for 9 months now and I just hope the battery lasts at least 2 years, as it was an expensive investment in my oral hygiene. Plus, replacing brushes costs something too. You can probably achieve the same good oral hygiene with a regular manual toothbrush, but it requires conscious, gentle brushing and proper brushing technique to avoid damaging the enamel and to cover all areas of the teeth. Philips Sonicare and the sonic vibration technology it uses make this process much easier and less complicated. The beauty of technology, I guess. It counts for you how long you need to brush exactly 2 minutes and vibrates at 30 second intervals to alert you to how much pressure to use, making brushing technique easier and cleaning between teeth much better. Practical for travel, too light and compact. It comes with a toothbrush box and 2 replacement brush heads. As for the different cleaning functions whitening, gum care and deep cleaning its okay, but honestly youll probably only use 1 or 2 options at most. So theyre more of a selling point than something you absolutely need. In fact, you will first test all three and settle on the one you like best. So you wont have to use 3 cleaning modes all the time.

11/18/2024 12:31 AM The Sonicare 6100 worked very well for the first 6 months. Then the bearings or bushings or something started to wear out and the shaft that the brush head fits on started to loosen. After a few more months, the shaft was so loose that the brush head barely vibrates at all and the handle still vibrates very strongly. 89 months after purchasing this rather expensive electric toothbrush, it is no longer of any value. My old Sonicare lasted about 10 years and I have probably used over 75 original Phillips Sonicare brush heads. Good thing I didnt throw it out because now I am reusing the old one and going to be looking for new brush heads that are getting harder to find and may not be made anymore. When I bought the new Sonicare 6100, I bought a pack of original Phillips Sonicare brush heads and the unit didnt even last long enough to use a brush head.

11/17/2024 4:40 PM have used both the OralB IO series and the Philips Sonicare. I think both get the job done, but the Sonicare at least seems like the better option to me because of the brush movement. The OralB rotates back and forth, while the Sonicare brush head moves similarly to a manual toothbrush, but much faster. The noise and vibration take some getting used to, but once you get used to it, I like the Sonicare brush. This particular model seems to be a winner as well. I will probably turn off the change brush signal because you can see the bristles starting to fade around the edges, which is the signal to change.

11/4/2024 5:07 AM It is much more effective than the Sonicare and the price is reasonable. It is much more effective at removing berry seeds and food particles from between teeth. I like the spartan design and the clever mechanism that lets you know how long you have been cleaning. The motor stops briefly after every 30second interval. This means that there is no need for an LED light and you do not have to take your toothbrush out of your mouth to look at the LED light. It is lightweight and appears to be completely waterproof. The material of the cover is nonslip.

It claimed to be a sonic toothbrush but it was very weak and seemed less powerful than my old Sonicare. The Philips Sonicare 6100 exceeds my expectations. I noticed a difference from the first use, after two days my teeth were whiter and cleaner than the other brand I tried. Go for it, it is definitely worth the extra cost. If I could afford the Philips Sonicare 9900 Prestige, I would buy it. But this 6100 does the job

I like its lightweight design because it is easier to handle. Additionally, the toothbrush will beep every 30 seconds when you need to move to another area of your mouth and will automatically turn off after 2 minutes. It also comes with eight extra brush heads. The only downside is that I wish it came with a charging dock instead of just plugging in from the bottom, but since it doesnt need to be charged often, its not a big deal. Overall, for the price, this is a great toothbrush.

My only complaint is that on the last three I had, the small metal rod that holds the toothbrush head came loose, rendering the unit unusable and requiring replacement.

10/16/2024 3:27 AM This toothbrush cleans my teeth very well. But there are some things that I find boring. These problems may be common to all electric toothbrushes, but next time I buy one, I will try to find a model that does not have any of these problems. The charging stand is shaped like a bowl that holds the toothbrush. It catches everything that drips onto the toothbrush. Even if I shake it and dry it with a towel, after a few days it looks slimy, with moisture, where it comes from, I do not even know. I wish it was designed to drain water or that the toothbrush could lift up a little so that air can circulate underneath it to avoid this problem. I also find the switch on the handle to turn it off a little difficult to find and use. Sometimes I have to turn it a few times to find it because it is quite inconspicuous. If you get frustrated and take them out of your mouth to visually find them again, youll end up with toothpaste residue on the mirror like Jackson Pollock, which is not a good thing. And since it has several different modes controlled by the number of button presses, you have to be careful otherwise youll miss a mode and have to go through them all over again. So when it comes to brushing your teeth, which is admittedly the most important thing, I think this is a great toothbrush. But it does have a few issues that really annoy me. Hence the 3 stars instead of 5.

I bought them and have been using them as directed, and boy, what a difference they make. My mouth has never been cleaner. The builtin timer allows me to be consistent and honest about how long it takes to clean. I used to wear out brush heads by applying too much pressure, but after reading the instructions and using them properly, I finally understand why they are so much better than the manual ones I was used to. I have no problem with the Oral B vs. Sonic Care race, but even with this affordable model, my teeth feel like I just got back from a dental cleaning. I would recommend.

I like that the brush heads are a little smaller so you can brush each tooth individually. I took off two stars because there were no replacement brush heads. If you run out, you can no longer use the toothbrush.

My previous one was getting a bit old so I bought this one and was not disappointed. This one is lighter than my previous one. I like that it has a sector cleaning timer as well as a regular two minute timer. It also has different speeds. I would definitely buy them again.

I read the reviews and wanted something that would continue to work while I cleaned. Many other cheaper options did not work and were very weak. I was happy with the rotation and medium strength of this brush, but after buying a regular toothbrush, I felt a big difference. It was very weak compared to my more expensive model. Also, I found the brush head too hard so I replaced it with a softer one, which helped a little. I dont know why, but this one doesnt glide over my teeth as easily as that one. Maybe its just not as strong. In the end, it did the job and was cheap. You get what you pay for. If youre looking for something longterm, invest in something more expensive. The health of your teeth and gums is worth it.

I looked at some that cost the same but just the brush. I would have bought it but couldnt get it to where I am. Still, I am happy with it. I think the rotating brush is much better than the Bach n Fort. But thats just my opinion.

9/15/2024 5:32 AM My daughter came in and told me her toothbrush was broken. I checked to see if I had purchased the extended warranty, but it was gone. When I looked through the 130179 parts list, I noticed some reviews saying the warranty was only good for a few months, but CVS would send a free replacement. I found a registration confirmation email from 27 months ago. It came with a 30 month extended warranty, at least in our case. I got through the chat literally 6 minutes before closing this Friday night, so I have high hopes. Not only was Aida May impeccable in their service, they ran me a few simple tests and then determined that a free replacement needed to be sent out, which was processed quickly. It didnt cost anything at all. The testing involved disabling the quick start feature. While the unit is charging, hold the power button for a few seconds until you hear a few beeps. The second test asks if the unit has been charging for 24 hours since the problem occurred. Yes. Then I was asked to cycle through the different cleaning modes and three intensity levels same result. Finally I was asked to change the brush head still no difference. Like others, I have been using Sonicare for decades. My whole family uses them except my 10 year old son. She has a simpler competing brand but will eventually switch to Sonicare. This 6100 model looks and works exactly like the 6500 models my wife and I use except it comes with a fancy travel case that I have never used except to try it out. The 6100 can also be used in the travel case. The clean feeling is second to none. We use the C3 whitening heads on all of our teeth. Combined with the WalMart prerinse, oral irrigator and Crest Clinical rinse, I get great reviews from dentists. When I use Crest 3D White Professional Effects No Slip White strips, my dental hygienist is simply amazed at their shine. This experience is based on 6500, but I do not see any difference from 6100, neither visually, nor mechanically, nor in use.

For this incredibly affordable price you get a great set of electric toothbrushes with extra accessories. It has different modes as well as a timer and does a really good job of getting a thorough clean. I let my kid try it with a different brush head and from now on he only wants to use that one lol even more than his kids electric toothbrush so I would say it is a win. It can be hard to find the accessories when they are sold out but for the price there is nothing to complain about at all.

I tried a couple of 49er models like the 4100 series previous and new generation but none of them had the powerful and fast brush head that my old 49er did. I am looking at a fantastic toothbrush that is worth the extra 50. The brush head is much stronger and faster than other models. I dont often write reviews so I wrote this to help others in the same situation. The dark blue color with the black brush head also looks great which is an added bonus. Be sure to turn off the EasyStart feature to experience the true power and speed from the first use. You dont need to turn on the EasyStart feature if you have had a Sonicare before and are used to the brushing motion.

The only question I have is why the charging light on the toothbrush is flashing after I brushed for 23 minutes and it was fully charged before brushing. I leave the brush on the charger as instructed and I like the way the charger holds the toothbrush. The flashing lasts for an hour or more sometimes I think. But the toothbrush itself and the way it treats my teeth is fantastic.

There needs to be space between your teeth for it to vibrate properly. Again, its great that it comes with so many replacement heads, making brushing your teeth less of a chore.

8/22/2024 8:11 AM LOVE Sonicare toothbrushes. My whole family uses one. We have been using Sonicare for about 20 years. Before Sonicare was sold, our toothbrushes would last for years. I dont remember replacing them unless we decided to go with a newer version. Then I saw they were sold. Then I replaced all of my kids toothbrushes. Within a year, my toothbrush stopped working. Then all of my kids toothbrushes followed. A few months later, I had to replace my daughters toothbrush, and now in a few months I will have to replace my other daughters toothbrush as well. I see they offer a subscription guarantee. They have never offered that before. What happened to the ONETIME guarantee payment Now we have to pay a subscription every month to keep our toothbrushes under warranty. I am starting to feel like these toothbrushes are not NEW. Maybe they refurbish these toothbrushes and sell them LIKE NEW and then offer a subscription guarantee because they know they will break in a few months Either that or they just dont care about making QUALITY PRODUCTS. Honestly, it breaks my heart to see products that were once great now being made with such poor quality. These toothbrushes are not cheap. I do NOT want to be tied to a subscription. After paying for that many months of subscription, I could buy another toothbrush. This is simply WRONG. I decided to buy a toothbrush directly from Sonicares to see if their toothbrushes would last longer. My address has a 12 in it. Their website doesnt allow me to type 12 into the address bar. So I had to type in my neighbors address. I called the company right after and asked if they could add 12 to my address and they said they couldnt. SO funny. Your system wont let you put 12 in the address. What kind of outdated system do they have So they delivered my package to my neighbor and now my neighbor says he never received the package even though there is a picture of the delivery. Maybe the package was stolen or maybe my neighbor opened the package and kept it. Who knows Now I have to wait 3 weeks for Sonicare to refund me. Why is it taking 3 weeks Why is my card not getting credit Anyway, with this review I want people to know that these toothbrushes are not what they used to be. I dont know if this is a problem with refurbished toothbrushes or if it is because Sonicare makes bad toothbrushes now. Has anyone else had this problem I am looking into this issue I am having to see if it is just a coincidence that ONLY I am having these issues or if this is happening to others too.

8/22/2024 7:53 AM useful 1 second pause every 30 seconds makes it easy to brush for 2 minutes. I use the gentle speed because I noticed a little scratch on my gums on the standard setting. Make sure to follow the instructions and only brush at a 45 degree angle on the sides and straight down, without applying extra pressure. There is no need for this. Leave it all to the toothbrush. It takes a while to charge. I have not had to charge it since the first full charge. After about 2 weeks of using it twice a day, it is still working well. Hopefully the battery will not die. This is the first electric toothbrush I have used. So far I have not been disappointed and my teeth have become noticeably whiter since using them.

Since I am approaching 50 and really need to take care of my teeth, this device really helps. Replacement brush heads are not very expensive and you can achieve what many others cannot. I prefer the 7100 series models over the 6000 series simply because of the flexible configuration options, but this is more a matter of personal preference than actual functionality. If you are not sure, buy it. You will like it and it will last a long time.

She recommended them to me and when I visited her last week the difference was astounding. This one has an intense cleanser with three settings so you can customize it but I have to tell you my mouth feels so much cleaner. If you want a better brush, go for this one, you wont regret it.

8/16/2024 12:22 PM This is my second sonic toothbrush that I have tried. It claims to have 45,000 RPM but it is smoother and quieter than the 40,000 RPM. Maybe it is because the toothbrush heads are a little softer, I really dont know if they are as durable as they claim. It was listed at 39.99 but with the promotions it is currently under 9. I know I like the feel in my mouth, it is not as choppy and the brushing mode is more comfortable than my first sonic brushing. Also the 30 second pause is more noticeable than with my other brush. My dental hygienist recommends using the soft toothbrush head so I think it is good. I will show her and see what she says. However for the price it is a bargain.

Just press it lightly against your tooth and it will do all the work for you by rotating. So you dont have to worry about pressing too hard. My next visit the dentist was impressed. It was great.

I bought it on April 24th and on July 24th it started vibrating violently and the yellow brush replacement light was blinking rapidly even though it was fully charged with a new brush. I picked up a new brush a second time and the problem persisted. I crossed my fingers and contacted Philips directly as instructed. The long wait was worth it as I received EXCELLENT service from a knowledgeable, helpful and caring representative. They finally sent me a new base and two replacement brushes. Despite the setback, Philips response could not have been better and has forever proven me right. Other companies should take this as an example.

I use a regular toothbrush first and then this one and I can easily tell that it makes a difference. It feels like my teeth are polished. It has a two minute timer which I really like and also a whisk if you apply too much pressure. I really appreciate that. I bought a few replacement heads because I travel. The case has a holder for two heads and fits very well in my travel bag. So far worth every penny.

It comes with a basic brush head, but I replaced it with the OralB Floss Action brush head, which I have loved for years. In addition to the 2minute timer feature, this model also provides 30second alerts that correspond with the recommended brushing time for each quadrant. For me, this is too restrictive, and I ignore everything but the 2minute warning message. However, you may find the 30second alerts useful. I have owned similar, less expensive electric toothbrushes from OralB in the past, and my only complaint is that the batteries require more frequent charging after the first few months of use. But these toothbrushes have been working reliably for 3 years now, and I dont see the need to spend 100 or more on a better electric toothbrush.

If you have ever had an Oral B rechargeable toothbrush, you are probably used to hearing a noise when the toothbrush is plugged into the charger. Some models also have an indicator light. This model does not have one and wobbles on the charger. Since the instruction pack did not help, I tried the OralB website. The FAQ does not provide any information. The chat and phone line do not allow you to wait for service, the message simply informs you that we are busy. Please try again later. Luckily, I found instructions on YouTube. The toothbrush works well and I believe it charges, but we will see.

My dentist told me that in the short time I have been using this toothbrush there has been a complete breakdown. I can only recommend them. The new model divides the 2 minute time cycle into 4 quadrant intervals of 30 seconds, which I dont really need or want, and 2. The battery doesnt last as long as the old model. Id happily trade the quadrant timer for longer battery life.

The new toothbrush had dimples on it that seemed to solve this problem. However, it did not. I bought some black antislip tape and stuck it on the new toothbrush. Problem solved. Great product. The ease of use encourages me to use it more often and thus improve my oral hygiene. Get the tape. You wont regret it.

It costs about the same as a manual toothbrush at the drugstore these days, but it has an ultrasonic cleaning feature. Its a simple sonic toothbrush thats a nice thin size thats easy to take with you when traveling or even just keep on your desk at work to brush your teeth after lunch. Its just a vibrating toothbrush with 4 settings. However, it actually makes your teeth look cleaner because the shaking and microcleaning seem to lift away dirt. Nothing special, but a decent price for a basic electric toothbrush.

It comes with 8 replacement brush heads. If you are not used to an electric toothbrush, I recommend starting with the sensitive brush head and adjusting it. Since I am not used to it, I did not expect this feeling. It was not terrible, just unexpected. It pauses regularly to encourage you to change areas of your mouth so that you are not focusing on just one area. I like that it is rechargeable. The only thing that is a little tricky is trying to plug in the charger on the bottom while it is on the stand. It is a little tricky to place it in the holder correctly when the charger is plugged in. Overall, I think this is a good electric toothbrush and would recommend it.

But in this case, I was so angry about this product that I put my finger on the keyboard and wrote down why I was not happy with this Philips electric toothbrush. I probably bought this electric toothbrush because I was familiar with the Philips Sonicare brand and because of the many positive reviews. But to be fair, there were other electric toothbrushes that had good reviews too. I think it was because I like the color blue and I thought it would be great to have a blue electric toothbrush that would match my bathroom decor and that I use to brush my teeth and take care of my teeth and gums. I have used this toothbrush a few times and it does a great job of cleaning my teeth, which is what I expect from a 100 electric toothbrush made by Philips. But I have a BIG PROBLEM with this electric toothbrush. The product description and the front of the package say that the toothbrush has three cleaning modes cleaning, gum care, and whitening. However, it only comes with one brush head that is ONLY for cleaning. My hopes that I would be able to use the toothbrush for teeth whitening or gum care in addition to brushing were shattered when I opened the product package. I was out of luck because I needed a separate brush head for each of these tasks, and the package does not include these brush heads. Isnt this what they call bait and switch or something like that You promise a potential buyer a feature if they buy the product, but the buyer later finds out that the feature is only available if they spend more money. Whatever you call it, its not good business practice. I was looking for these extra Sonicare brush heads and I found them. It costs an extra 35 for the three whitening and gum care brush heads and there is also an extra cleaning brush head similar to the one that comes with the toothbrush. I couldnt just buy both brush heads. I dont think Im being unreasonable when I say that for the 100 I spent on this electric toothbrush and the fact that it boasts three cleaning modes, I believe that a toothbrush should do these things by offering the buyer the three necessary brush heads. The important thing for me is that I think Phillips is terribly misleading when they advertise three cleaning functions in big letters on the product packaging and then I find out that this is not entirely true. I like the blue color and the toothbrush works well, but I am honestly considering returning it and buying an electric toothbrush from a competitor that offers similar features, as long as all the necessary parts are included. That is, if I buy an electric toothbrush that costs over 100. If you are still reading this review, you might think twice before buying a toothbrush that promises features that you will only enjoy if you buy this toothbrush and then spend an extra 35 to get the necessary brush heads. Maybe. Philips will contact me and explain. That would be nice. I will wait a few days before returning this toothbrush.

When any part of the brush head touches my lips, which is inevitable when brushing my teeth, I get a very unpleasant tingling sensation due to the fast vibrations. I have not used them once and certainly will not continue to use them. However, this is typical for these types of sonic toothbrushes. Other than that, it has four vibration modes, several additional attachments, and is charged via an included USB cable that needs to be connected to a computer or charger. It does not have a charging station.

I was sold after switching from a manual toothbrush to a Sonicare many years ago and seeing a noticeable improvement in the health of my teeth and gums. This toothbrush works as well as any other Sonicare because I dont need all the features of the more expensive version. I just want a brush that cleans and gets the job done, and this one does that very well. So why four stars instead of five First, I think these products are overpriced, and they should be, and second, I really hate it when companies make products with batteries that cant be replaced and have to be thrown away after a certain number of charges. Sonicare is not the only culprit. Norelko, Im looking at you too. Toothbrushes may last a long time, but batteries dont. Start making them in a way that produces less ewaste and allows you to change the batteries. To extend the life of the battery, I recommend not charging it until the battery shows low. This usually happens after about 2 weeks, depending on how often you brush your teeth each day. You can probably recharge it 500 times, and if you do this, you can extend the life of the toothbrush. Overall, a good toothbrush, but the lack of a replaceable battery and the price prevent it from being a perfect toothbrush. 4 stars

I may be biased, but I have been using them for many years and always buy from Phillips when I need a new one. In fact, I brush my teeth twice a day and mine lasted many years before I had to buy new ones. The warranty is also very good. The toothbrushes have three settings soft, medium and strong, so you can gradually get used to them. They clean great without damaging your gums and I have not had a cavity in years. Note I also use a Phillips electric oral irrigator twice a day another fantastic device from Phillips. I realize that this review may sound like an advertisement. It is not, I just believe in the Phillips products I use.

In fact, there are better and more effective electric toothbrushes with many features such as faster vibration, stronger movement, different models, charging station, accessories, water pumps, timers, smart app, camera, cleaning station and all that whistle... some even clean your teeth for you. However, if you compare this 5 toothbrush with other toothbrushes in the 15 price range, the difference is like night and day. You will not regret it. Been using it for about 5 years. Nothing to complain about and my dentist always praises me for my good hygiene. This is not a paid review.

I would also have tried an ultrasonic toothbrush, but found that most of them are currently unavailable andor offered by small businesses with service issues. Sonic and ultrasound are different things, but they are often confused in reviews, even by experts. All current Philips sonic toothbrush models perform 31,000 movements per minute, thereby removing all plaque and providing excellent cleaning performance. In my opinion, you have to press unreasonably hard when brushing to cause the pressure sensor to change vibration. So I think this feature is not really that useful in the current version. The whitening feature is real, but people should know that it is not a whitening procedure that is aimed at changing the actual color of the teeth. When used correctly, it can help minimize the appearance of extrinsic stains caused by coffee, wine, etc. One important benefit that I usually dont mention is that this toothbrush sits on its side on a flat surface and does not roll. So if you put it on the table and want to apply toothpaste, it will stay in place and will not roll around, causing the toothpaste to spill. The surface is quite smooth and sometimes difficult to hold on to. The addition of a rubberized handle would be an improvement. I wrapped the handle with a rubber band, which alleviated the problem. Overall, this is a great toothbrush with four timers, three intensity levels, Smart Brush technology, and a reminder to change the brush.

5/20/2024 11:45 AM bought this because my dental hygienist recommended it to me. Works well. The 3 settings are nice but not essential. I really like the 30 second intervals and 2 minute intervals. I would change the light or the low battery indicator. It literally dies while brushing so I have no idea when it needs to be recharged which is a bit annoying. I suppose I could just leave it charging all the time but I personally dont like having anything plugged in unnecessarily. Secondly, there is a hole in the back of the brush head and for some reason brushing my teeth is a complete disaster since I dont have a suction cup to keep the juice out of my mouth lol. Thirdly, the brush itself and the charging stand should be cleaned regularly. The black brush shows a lot of residue and the charging unit collects water and dirt. Pretty disgusting

A big, bulky, heavy, reusable toothbrush that takes up counter space is not what I wanted, but I wanted the vibrating bristles. The brush is about the same size and weight as a regular toothbrush, which is a plus for me. The 2 AA batteries are replaceable, but the brushes wear out before I need to replace the batteries. The vibrations are gentle enough that I dont feel pain in my teeth, but I still feel a nice clean feeling. This toothbrush provides the extra cleaning you would expect from a vibrating toothbrush.

5/19/2024 6:33 PM had problems with plaque on my gums. My gums were inflamed and I would bleed when I brushed and flossed. Since using this toothbrush, my gums look great. No more bleeding or plaque. My teeth look like they just came from the dentist. A feeling I didnt have every day before and I do now. Highly recommended. I also bought the kids version for my daughter. She also says her teeth are cleaner now. She loves the app and doesnt want her character to be sad. So now she sticks to her morning and evening routine without complaint.

I wanted to replace the Oral B Pulsar brushes I usually use, and after using them, I think Ill stick with them from now on. The sonic effect isnt as strong as the Oral B Pulsar, so I prefer them over regular toothbrushes in the first place. Either that, or the battery is weak or nearing the end of its life, which is probably why they were put on sale. Ill use them, but I wont be buying them again.

The timer takes some getting used to because 30 seconds goes by so quickly and before you know it, its time to move on to the next quadrant. The battery lasts a long time. It comes with a handy travel case and a brush head cover to keep your brush head clean between uses. Keep the instructions until you get used to what all the lights mean. The only downside Ive found is that there are different brush heads for different tasks that are sold separately. The whitening brush head comes with the unit. The gum care brush head and cleaning brush head are sold separately.

4/1/2024 6:20 PM This is my first Sonic Care in years as I was still using the old ones and just got new heads. As with many things, there are models without a USB adapter. I prefer to just plug the charger into a regular outlet, so I bought this. So far I am happy with it. It is lighter and thinner than the previous one and the tip of the toothbrush is different. I hope this difference will make it cleaner as the previous versions would accumulate dirt and it was horrible. It just glides along the shaft, leaving very little space for dirt to accumulate. Its smaller footprint also makes it more convenient for travel. It takes up less space.

I have had more expensive OralB models with more features, but I had to save money this time. It only has three features that I really need OralB circular brushing. The timer is about two minutes for all four areas of the teeth. I like this, so I dont clean too much or not enough. Its a good load. I unplugged it for a week and didnt notice any loss of power. So its perfect for traveling. Yes, you can buy a device with a million extra features for a lot more money, but why did Thoreau say, Simplify, simplify Im glad I did. I miss the latest trendy character who had a happy face when I finished brushing my teeth, but Ill survive.

A few things I like It has a swirl for easy grip. It comes with 8 heads that last for two years if replaced every 3 months as recommended. In my opinion, it removes stains better than a manual toothbrush. It has a timer feature that stops every 30 seconds, acting as a signal when it is time to move to another section of the mouth. It turns off automatically after 2 minutes. A few things I dont like It does not come with a carrying casestorage box. It does not come with any kind of stand to keep it upright on a wall, mirror or cabinet, preferably one that can hold the charger so it automatically charges when I place the toothbrush on it. I dont like that it charges via an AEPIN connector instead of USBC. If the charger gets lost or the toothbrush breaks while on vacation, Im unlikely to be able to find a replacement charger. Apart from the operating instructions, which many people dont read, its impossible to know what mode the toothbrush is in. The sticker next to the headlights is illegible. I even thought it was covering something and tried to remove it.

3/19/2024 2:03 AM bought this because the battery on our old white toothbrush wasnt lasting that long and I needed one for another bathroom when I stay up late so I dont wake up my girlfriend whos about to go to the gym. Sonicare offers a similar but cheaper version that does the same thing except it doesnt have intensity settings. I thought given all the good reviews it might be worth spending a little more. However, to my surprise, the other intensity settings are lower than normal. Youd have to have extremely sensitive gums or teeth to even consider a lower setting. Honestly, Id rather save up and buy the same unit as last time since it still came in a travel case. I have to say that Sonicare really charges too much for the extra features you get. I wouldnt mind spending a little more for the travel case that also includes the battery so we dont have to carry a charger with us when we travel. However, it costs astronomically more to include it in the kit, and I havent found an option to just buy the part on its own for any of the current Sonicare toothbrushes. Overall, it does a good job, but dont waste your money expecting 3 intensity settings to give you a better cleaning experience than a slightly cheaper version.

3/3/2024 6:03 PM bought this sonic toothbrush for my mom, hoping it would be a lot less aggressive than the one I recently ordered, but its so aggressive that even I wont use it. I tried it last night to see how it worked and found it to be even less harsh than the sonic toothbrush I currently use for myself. Dont get me wrong, even though I say its less aggressive, it still cleans brilliantly without feeling like its shaking your brain into mush or making your inner upper gums tingle to the point of unbearable pain. If you cant stand the contact, the brush wont be effective, so the lower aggressiveness factor seems like a better deal. It doesnt include all the usual accessories and uses a proprietary power plug, so you cant just grab a USB charging cable to charge it. I also noticed that they didnt bother to put a waterproof seal on the charging port, so Im not sure how long this thing will last if it gets wet. At 10 its still cheaper than some lower quality rotating electric toothbrushes, and it does an impressive job of leaving you as clean as if youve just come from the dentist after using it. I vote for this model for its performance and ease of use.

Buying 8 electric toothbrushes for less than 1 is a nobrainer. Even if I cant find the right replacement heads, its still the best option. There are so many different models of electric toothbrushes now that Im sure I can find the right heads. The head is smaller, but it still cleans better and with less effort than a manual head.

It removes more plaque than a manual toothbrush or a Sonicare toothbrush. It is not as expensive as other models and does the same job. 1/9/2024 2:13 PM really like the brushes on this toothbrush. They clean really well. Will definitely continue to use this toothbrush. I find the onoff switch a bit difficult to use. You have to push really hard to get it to turn on or off. Not good for those of us with arthritis. The only thing I dont like is that it has a built in safety switch that makes it stop if you push too hard. I guess I brush hard because it often stays on when Im using it. But it also stays on when I run it under running water to rinse. The price was reasonable and there were two in the package. A white one for me, a black one for my son. Im quite happy with it.

1/6/2024 7:27 PM This is a great toothbrush for an even better price. For 10 you get the brush, 8 brush heads, and a standard USB charging cable. This brush oscillates and also has a pulsating mode. The oscillations are very gentle for those with sensitive gums. So gentle that sometimes I felt like I needed to squeeze to get a better clean. After brushing, my teeth feel smoother than after brushing by hand. Like its more expensive counterparts, this toothbrush has 30second timers that vibrate to let you know that you can move on to the next quadrant for a total of 2 minutes. The handle is very pretty, a powder pink color with rose gold glitter grips that are very ergonomic and comfortable. The only downside is the lack of a case, but for 10 you can get Ziploc bags.

1/4/2024 10:14 PM Dentist recommended OralB. I bought a set of 2 and gave one to my wife. Works very well. Has a handy timer feature that notifies you when you have brushed for 30 seconds. Recommended 30 seconds per quadrant.

1/3/2024 11:46 PM It comes with two toothbrushes. I used it on holiday and was very surprised at how well it cleaned my teeth. I thought that since they are battery operated I would get 1 or 2 good brushes before the battery died, but that was not a problem as it lasted the entire 11 days of my holiday.

1/3/2024 11:34 PM really like this toothbrush, it has a lot of power and three modes that are easy to use and switch between. I like the feel of my teeth after using the toothbrush, they are especially clean and soft, almost like brushing your teeth. The only thing that is not so great is the battery life. I feel like I will have to charge it more often than other toothbrushes. I have had some before, but overall it is a great buy for a good price.

1/1/2024 12:48 PM I only gave it 4 stars because it is noisier than other big brand toothbrushes I have used. It may be the one I bought as I dont see any reviews mentioning noise. Otherwise it is great, I like the size and shape of the brush head and how well it cleans.
