Weak button
The button on this model is very difficult to press compared to other models. Otherwise, the quality that I value in this electric toothbrush is high.

Works great
I bought this for me and my son when he got braces. We both love it. Honestly, my teeth have never been brushed. I wish I had made the change years ago.

My dentist recommended this toothbrush to me. It seems to work well. I wont know until my next biannual cleaning. I hope it works. I hate scratching my teeth with those infernal metal toothpicks.

Not what I expected
I bought this toothbrush to replace the Quip I had been using for years. While it cleans your teeth well, it is a disaster. When you need to spit, water sprays everywhere and leaves a dirty countertop when you are done. Also, the timer on my toothbrush stopped working after two weeks.

OralB smart 1500
After switching between OralB and Sonicare electric toothbrushes for years, I have found the OralB 1500 series to be a better fit for my needs. As someone who suffers from receding gums, I appreciate their service. Sonicares sonic technology provides a better clean, but the OralB 1500 is especially effective at cleaning hardtoreach areas. One important point is that I recommend using the OralB 1500 with the OralB Sensitive Gum Care Electric Toothbrush Heads instead of the original brush head. These soft brush heads not only clean small areas effectively, but also prevent discomfort or sensitivity when gums recede. I was initially concerned about using the OralB with the standard mediumhard brush heads, but this combination worked for me. In my opinion, both OralB and Sonicare have their advantages, but the OralB 1500 series, when combined with the appropriate brush heads, provides a comfortable and effective teeth cleaning, especially for people with sensitive gums.

Its hard to turn off
We have been using Oral B electric toothbrushes for years and they clean great. This particular model has a concave onoff switch, as opposed to the convex switches on our previous models. I have a hard time turning the toothbrush off and I have a hard time applying enough pressure in the right place to control it. I do not recommend this model and will move on to another model when it is time to replace it.

like this product. However, they say it is double counting, but it is not true. It is only one head. And from the toothbrush only the head arrived. But I like them, especially for this price.

I love how easily it glides over my teeth and gums, providing a deep clean without being too rough. The brush makes my brushing routine fast and efficient. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a highquality electric toothbrush with professional results.

Powerful Oral B
4
Kim Avatar
11/10/2024 5:33 PM was a Sonicare guy. When he gave up, I bought a basic OralB because my insurance offered it. Then for Christmas I got an Oral B Pro 1000. This brush was more powerful than my basic model and I was pretty happy with it until I dropped it and it broke. Since I had a drawer full of OralB replacement brush heads, I decided to upgrade. Wow. This thing is so much more powerful than the 1000. I feel like this Oral B has the power of my old Sonicare. It seems to have a bigger motor and battery than my other two OralBs. The battery lasts two weeks compared to 10 days for the 1000 and one week for the basic model. It also charges faster despite using the same charger as the other models. But what matters most here is the performance. It really removes dirt and debris. Three modes Daily and Full Speed, Coastal Mode is just one speed lower. Lightning mode is the most interesting because it constantly increases the speed. We inevitably think of a sports car that changes all the gears when accelerating. I dont know why this toothbrush is called smart. It doesnt have Bluetooth, app connectivity or anything like that. It has a charging indicator. The basic model doesnt have one. It has a brushing timer that starts the motor every 30 seconds and repeats every two minutes. It doesnt turn off like the Sonicare. The red light on the pressure sensor works, but you have to press too hard to get a warning. So its a powerful brush with useful features and no silly features. It uses standard Oral B brush heads, which are available in many generalpurpose and specialty versions. Im glad I bought them.

11/8/2024 3:02 PM While you may think that not having a rechargeable battery is a waste of time, trust me, it has its place in todays world. Never again will you face planned obsolescence when your electric toothbrush runs out of battery and you have no other way to solve the problem other than replacing the entire unit. Instead, you can buy this toothbrush and rechargeable AA batteries and get a rechargeable toothbrush that will last for a long time. The actual function of the toothbrush is simple, but do we really need a smart toothbrush I believe that the electric one is more than enough and is a great budget option.

11/8/2024 11:18 AM I have 4 units for me and the kids. Full power is a bit much for me. A bit tricky to reconnect the charging cable. Runs for weeks on a charge. One of my kids has already broken one. The plastic axle that holds the brush at the base broke during the first brushing and it was ready for a new head.

11/5/2024 8:00 PM Update 4 A few days after all this, the charging indicator system started working fine again. I suspect that the Pro 1500 I bought has a waterproofing defect. I say water got in and caused a short circuit. Now that it has dried out for a few days, everything is working fine. I am still sending it back. I received a replacement and so far it works great, although I still rinse the grip like I did on the first Pro 1500. Update 3 It turns out that it is still charging, but the system that tells you it is charging just doesnt work anymore. Thats all that happened. So my Pro 1500 just lost the ability to indicate that it is charging when it is actually charging. I figured this out by leaving the Pro 1500 on until the battery was completely dead. I then tested to see if the battery was completely dead by trying to turn it on, but it wouldnt turn on. I put it on charge for 2 hours and now that it turns on it is usable again but it still doesnt say it is charging. So I just found out it is definitely charging even though the screen doesnt say anything else. Wow. Im glad I realized that in case this happens to my new device. Update 1 I have bad news but I wont change the star rating I give. I just used my beautiful new Pro 1500 and put it on the charger when I was done like always but now it wont charge. The charging light will blink twice and then go out. When I lift the handle and try to turn it on I have to press the power button twice. Ive done this dozens of times now and in some cases the second blink has caused the charging light to freeze. When this happens when I take the device out of the charger and press the power button ONCE the light goes out but the device wont turn on until I press the power button a second time as expected. with this issue. It feels like the device is stuck on the charger. Most of the time the light only blinks twice and then goes out. So I just turned the device on and left it on until the battery died to see if that would reset it. Otherwise I will probably return it as defective and maybe buy another one. I really dont know if I want another one right now. I mean after all this I dont know if I can trust the Pro 1500 anymore even though it is far superior to the Pro 1000 in terms of performance, battery life and charging time. I still have my black Pro 1000 and it still works, although I now hate the lower performance, short battery life and long charging time. The Pro 1000 uses a NiMH battery while the Pro 1500 uses a Liion. Sigh. I just cant beat it. Update 2 I just won and won big. came to my rescue. I just had a very quick and casual conversation that lasted about 2 minutes and all I did was ask what my options were if I decided to return it because it was broken. I asked if they would offer me a prepaid return shipping label and send me a replacement Pro 1500 immediately or would I have to wait etc etc etc. Well the answer they gave me blew my mind, they offered to send me a new Pro 1500 today with 2 day shipping with free shipping on Saturday and they said I could return my defective Pro 1500 within 30 days with a prepaid return label. So yeah, I did it. Wow Prior to this chat session, I had been in email correspondence with OralB and they offered me a prepaid shipping invoice so I could send my Pro 1500 to their service center for inspection and possible repair or replacement depending on what they found during the investigation. When I received this email, I started chatting just to see what they could do for me. Below is my initial review. To put my experience in perspective, I can share a little story so you can see what I am basing my comparison on. I purchased the OralB Vitality on January 5th and immediately fell in love with the electric toothbrush. I had never brushed my teeth before, but now I brush twice a day and love it. I thought the Vitality was a great electric toothbrush since it was my first toothbrush so I wanted to keep it for as long as possible. Then I started doing a little research and found out that I could get a really great upgrade for only 40. So, on January 12th, I bought the OralB Pro 1000 and the Vitality looked like a cheap regular electric toothbrush. The Vitality only has 7,600 oscillations per minute and doesnt pulsate, it just spins. The Pro 1000 has 8,800 oscillations per minute and 20,000 pulses per minute. This is actually a huge improvement over the Vitality. I immediately understood why the ADA accepted the Pro 1000 over the Vitality or the Pro 500. Then I finally tried the CrossAction head that comes with the Pro 1000 and my experience was even better the CrossAction is simply amazing. With that, I thought I had the best electric toothbrush I could buy without buying a much more expensive one and paying for features I would never use. Thats why I thought the Pro 1000 was unbeatable in this price range. But I was wrong. Keep reading. I recently discovered the Pro 1500 and after thoroughly researching it, I ordered one because it seemed like buying another one so soon would be worth it. From what I read, I found it to be a huge improvement over the Pro 1000. Well, IT IS a huge improvement. I used my new Pro 1500 for the first time today and I was almost speechless. All I could think of were things like HEY, WOW, and I WANT TO DO THIS AGAIN. Honestly, I didnt want to stop. I loved every second of it and was smiling within the first minute of use. I was completely blown away. In my opinion, the Pro 1500 is far superior to the Pro 1000 in every way. Dont get me wrong, the Pro 1000 is still very good and a huge step up from the Vitality. This makes the Vitality and even the Pro 500 seem like a waste of money, but the Pro 1500 is at a much higher level and is currently only 10 more than the Pro 1000. Despite all the improvements it has, the price difference would have to be mine. In my opinion, it would be much greater. So I say if you want the best of OralB but dont care about the OralB app or all the extra features and a few extra cleaning modes, then this is the model to get. The most important thing is the cleaning efficiency of the motor combined with the brush head it uses and it far surpasses the Pro 1000. In an email conversation with OralB, they told me that the Pro 1500 is a complete new model that they released in the fall of 2017, it has 9900 oscillations per minute and 45,000 pulsations per minute in the daily cleaning mode as well as the Sensitive mode. The mode reaches 7,400 vibrations per minute and 33,000 pulsations per minute. I can confidently say that this information is correct. Then again, the Pro 1000 produces 8,800 vibrations per minute and 20,000 pulsations per minute, while the Vitality and Pro 500 only produce 7,600 vibrations per minute. I still think that the Pro 1000s 8,800 vibrations per minute and 20,000 pulsations are quite reasonable, and I really like it, but compared to that, the 9,900 vibrations per minute and 45,000 pulsations per minute are simply mindboggling. It feels like its more than twice as good. Its just really good. It also makes a cool noise with an audible frequency of 375 Hz in Daily Cleaning mode and 275 Hz in Sensitive mode, which seems to mean 22,500 and 16,500 pulses per second respectively, but there are technical reasons why the audible noise is exactly half of what it actually is. the sound frequency generated. So my whole first experience today was a real pleasure, especially compared to the Pro 1000. I liked it. I even used the Daily Cleaning mode on the crown of my upper tooth, the first one next to my left front tooth. I thought I would need the Sensitive mode and tried it, but it was not necessary, so I switched back to the Daily Cleaning mode and it was great. I really enjoy brushing my teeth now. It makes us feel very good. Using a manual toothbrush, I rarely enjoyed the process itself. I just enjoyed the end result. With the Pro 1500, it feels like a really good massage or something. I dont know. The motor also sounds more premium than the Pro 1000, especially when the timer makes it oscillate. It feels like the motor handles the oscillations without any effort. It feels powerful. When the Vitality does it, it feels like it takes a lot of effort to get the motor to stop and start so quickly. If the Pro 1000 does it, its much better than the Vitality, much more powerful and with a cleaner sound. So the Pro 1500 is also at a much higher level in this regard. Switching between the two cleaning modes is very easy. The button is very easy to press, but not so easy that you accidentally press it. This also means that turning the unit on and off is effortless. I thought it would be a little annoying to have to press the power button twice to turn it off from daily cleaning mode, but after this one use I am already 100 happy with it, and turning on the Sensitive mode reassures me if I still need it. I actually have a major dental procedure coming up, so I bet I will be happy to switch to Sensitive mode after that. Another thing I like about the Pro 1500 is that it has a lithiumion battery. This means it charges much faster and lasts much longer if you dont charge it between uses. The Vitality, Pro 500, Pro 1000 and even the Pro 3000 have NiMH batteries. The Vitality and Pro 500 NiMH batteries last 5 days at 2 minutes, 2 times a day for a total of 20 minutes, while the Pro 1000 and 3000 last 7 days at 2 minutes, 2 times a day for a total of 28 minutes. The OralB LithiumIon battery lasts 14 days at 2 minutes, 2 times a day for a total of 56 minutes. The total charge time for the NiMH battery from completely discharged is 1922 hours, based on the Vitality to Pro 3000 battery life. The total charge time for the LithiumIon battery is 12 hours. The charging indicator blinks slowly while charging and turns off when charging is complete. The manual states that the red low battery indicator blinks a few times when turning the handle on or off and that the motor runs slower. With a total use time of 56 minutes, I would likely only experience this if I completely discharged the battery once every 6 months for battery maintenance. Update 4 Thanks to my rather negative experience with my Pro 1500, I learned something very impressive. When the low battery light comes on, the motor automatically slows down to a NEW speed that is still good enough to achieve professional cleaning results, but slow enough that you can use it for a few more minutes. You see, I intentionally completely drained the battery to reset it and see if that would fix my Pro 1500, and during that process the motor was humming at 9900 vibrations and 45000 impacts per minute until the red low battery light came on. At that point, it switched to a new, lower speed and stayed at that speed until the battery was dead, which actually seemed to take a good 15 minutes, but I didnt have a single attachment on the handle. When it was empty, it finally slowed down for a few seconds until it finally stopped. So it has a third speed when the battery is low, so to speak. Very cool. So now Im very glad I went through all this. I always wondered what would happen as the battery got less and less powerful, and I always wondered what it would look like when the red low battery LED came on. Honestly, Im very impressed. If I had to name things to complain about, Id pick VERY small criticisms, but I know this makes them seem big, heh1. The position of the rubber grip2. The position of the power button3. How much pressure is needed to trigger the pressure sensor4. The position of the flat part that prevents the handle from rolling after installation1. Check out some pictures of the Vitality and the Pro 500. The colored area you see is the rubber grip. Check out the black Pro 1000, Pro 1000, or Pro 3000 in a different color. The black part of the Pro 1000 Black is where the rubber grip is on the Pro 1500 and all Pro 1000, 1500, and 3000 models. The rest of the grip is smooth, shiny plastic with molded grooves for the grip, as if that would help. If I were the one designing the grip, I would place the rubber grip in the exact opposite position the perfect negative so that the rubber grip is on the sides and back instead of just the front. That way, the front would be a smooth, shiny piece of plastic. Or maybe I would just rubberize the entire grip. I almost fell over it because of this. I have the same complaint and almost fell over the Pro 1000. It is very aesthetically pleasing, though. 2. The power button is perfectly placed on the Vitality and Pro 500. When I was using the Vitality, it felt like the power button was always right under my thumb and all I had to do was press it. I never had to look for the button. On the Pro 1000 and 1500, and I think the 3000, I still sometimes have to look for the button or look directly at it before trying to press it. Of course, I know where things are much better today, but with the Vitality.3, this was never an issue. The pressure sensor seems to require too much pressure to activate. I havent tested it in action, but I did test it before use when I reviewed and rated the Pro 1500, and I wasnt too impressed with the pressure required. It seems like it takes a dangerous amount to get the light to turn on. However, I dont think its a very sensitive sensor. I wouldnt want the light to turn on frequently during use. So I never expected it to because I was trying not to brush my teeth too hard. The position of the antirolling flat is worse than on the Vitality and Pro 500. When the Vitality has the attachment, the flat is right in the middle, where I probably hold my toothbrush because I put them on the counter. This allows me to easily place the handle directly on the flat every time without looking or thinking about it. On the Pro 1000, 1500, and 3000 I dont know what its like on the other models yet, the flat is at the very bottom of the handle. So if I accidentally and thoughtlessly let the handle hang over the edge of the counter, the flat is not hitting anything and the handle can flip. If there is toothpaste on the brush and it flips, guess what happens. I never had this problem with the Vitality because the flat is designed more intelligently. So yeah, the Pro 1500 is a huge improvement over the Pro 1000. Having both now, I dont see any compelling reason to buy the Pro 1000 instead. I think production should be stopped. Its only a 10 difference, but the Pro 1500 is at a much higher level than the Pro 1000. The Pro 1000 seems like a waste of money to me now, 50 for the Pro 1500 seems like a good deal to me now, having experienced it.

Oral B Vitality vs Sonicare Essence
5
Chavez Avatar
11/3/2024 9:14 PM have been using the Sonicare Essence for a few years now and recently had the opportunity to try the Oral B Vitality. I was blown away and immediately bought one. Before I went any further, I used a friends new Oral B toothbrush I didnt want to sneak into someones bathroom and try their toothbrushes that would just be weird weird and scary. Continue Comparison The design of the Sonicare is superior to the Oral B in terms of feel, it has a sturdy thick handle and is very well made. When you turn on the Oral B, it feels quite cheap, maybe a little underpowered. That is certainly not the case with the Essence. The Oral B feels waterproof, which is great, and lightweight which might be a good thing if you are traveling with it. Cleaning Quality Yes, there is a difference here in my opinion. Keep in mind that these are the cheapest brushes from each company, I cant speak to the quality of the fancier models. I have been using the Sonicare for years now but it has never become my main toothbrush. I know its supposed to be better than a regular toothbrush, but I barely notice any difference. The vibrations are strong, and I hope they do something, but... oh well. With the Oral B, I noticed a difference right away. My mouth was super clean, incredibly clean. If it breaks, Ill probably spend the money on a better model... Honestly, I cant think of anything that cleans better. Bottom line Get the Oral B Vitality. It really does keep your mouth clean and its a joy to use... I dont know why, but it is. The Sonicare is okay. I dont notice much of a difference between regular brushing and the essence. Im not knocking it, but it was a bit more expensive at the time of writing and I dont think it cleans as well.

11/2/2024 2:26 AM My dentist recommended a rechargeable electric toothbrush to help me optimize my dental care, and I really like it. It turns red when you press too hard, and it seems to do a good job. My only complaint is that you have to hold the button down firmly for a few seconds to turn it off. Otherwise, you have to press through three settings until it turns off. It would be nice if the button was more visible, but with my tendonitis, its a little hard to hold.

10/29/2024 8:55 PM It works very well and is comparable to the rechargeable ones I have been using for over 10 years. The new rechargeable ones are so expensive now and have so many speeds that you have to press the start button three times to get a good speed. Even when you plug in the charger it does not light up to indicate that it is charging or even when it is charged and that was the OralB at 49.00. That is why I tried the OralB on batteries for 1500. Very disappointed with the new OralB rechargeable toothbrushes.

10/6/2024 9:44 PM have never owned an Oral B electric toothbrush. I have always used manual toothbrushes or cheap no name electric toothbrushes that get thrown away too often. This brush gets into those hard to reach places where I have gum issues. Their rotating brush head is far superior to the cheap brands... the price is great and it comes with batteries. Another positive is that I dont have to brush my teeth anymore. My mouth feels cleaner too. I will stick with this. I bought one for my husband too.

10/1/2024 10:23 AM love my new sonic toothbrush. It is a huge improvement over my old manual toothbrush. The vibrating brush head works gently but powerfully, leaving my teeth smooth and clean. My teeth and gums are healthier, and I have noticed a reduction in plaque and tartar buildup. The travel case is also a nice bonus. Easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to charge. I highly recommend upgrading to a sonic toothbrush.

10/1/2024 9:24 AM have been wanting to buy an electric toothbrush for a long time but I didnt want to pay the high price for some branded products. So I decided to try my luck with the Anebart Black and Pink Toothbrush Set. I was surprised. It works very well and since it can be charged wirelessly with a USB cable, you dont have to worry about the cable getting in the way. Since the USB cable is hidden inside the toothbrush, it is perfect for travel and daily use. It works great and has many buttons that you can use, such as Clean, White Polish, Massage, Gentle, and Care. It comes with 12 brush heads, 6 for each toothbrush. Many big brand products come in limited quantities and you have to buy replacements. I have been using it for 3 weeks after charging it and I have not had to charge it. Amazing. You will be very happy if you buy it. I

9/9/2024 8:26 PM bought these to replace a much more expensive Oral B Black that I had been using for years. Recently it had a buildup that even regular vinegar couldnt get rid of. So instead of ordering 200 other models, I went with this one. I think I like it even better than the expensive one. I plan on going with rechargeable batteries but dont want to clutter my vanity with a charging station. Seems very powerful and cleans better than my old one. I think the old one was getting weaker but it lasted about 6 years. If the shaft gets clogged Ill just replace it.

9/7/2024 4:43 AM This is my second order. My son ordered one too. I usually use a baby toothbrush because I have a small mouth. No one would really believe that though. The floss brush that comes with it fits well. Almost too big, but no. They have another type of attachment that seems smaller. I received one but havent tried it yet. The first time I used it I wasnt prepared to perform. Wow, Im used to it. My teeth are so much cleaner than theyve ever been. Nice. I had a spot where I used to get food stuck. I had to keep digging around for it. This thing just took it out. Cool. Holds a decent charge. I dont leave mine on the charger because my awesome electrician decided to wire our bathroom so that the power would go out when the lights went out. Boo. Thats why I bought two. It needs to be on the charge for more than 12 hours, closer to the advertised 16 hours, or it wont turn on at all. So keep it charged. And if the plastic of the toothbrush hits your teeth, be careful. It will shake your brain a bit. Over time, you will find your rhythm. It is nice that there are different groups for different people, although I have not used this feature yet. I like the timer so I know I am doing it for at least 2 full minutes. Very useful for people like me. I would absolutely recommend it. Just keep in mind that OralB only records one file per family. I do not know why, but it is. They have a good coupon you can get if you do this. There is also one that you can just attach to the packaging, which is actually very annoying because it is too open. For me, this was the perfect choice, as I had never used an electric toothbrush before. I did not know if I would like it and did not want to spend a fortune only to find out that I did not like it. Hope this helps...

9/6/2024 6:44 AM We have been using an AA battery powered toothbrush for years, which is a huge improvement over a manual toothbrush. I didnt buy a rechargeable one because I thought it would be easy to replace the batteries every now and then. What I didnt realize is that rechargeable batteries are much more powerful than AA batteries and can greatly improve the performance of the brush head. It is as much better than an AA unit as an AA unit is better than a manual toothbrush. It took a WSJ article to convince me to spend 70 on one. My advice If you dont have one, get one.

I have to say that after using it my teeth feel cleaner than they ever did with my old battery operated toothbrush or manual toothbrush. Putting the batteries in was a bit of a challenge as the cap on the bottom is not easy to remove. There is a dot on the side of the brush just above the cap that you have to press to release the cap. One battery is facing the positive terminal down and the other is facing the negative terminal down but it is not clearly marked.

8/16/2024 11:47 PM Although it comes with two modules. The noise is not as bad as some people make it out to be, it is electronic so some noise is to be expected. These replaced our other SonicCare brushes that lasted 10 years. The dentist recommended the Oral B because the brush heads are round and spinning, allowing them to cover more teeth and get better results. Cons 1. Nothing happens when you apply pressure. I tried different pressure levels to test this, even by hand, and nothing happened, so this feature is faulty, at least on our model. 2. The timer is great, but even after 2 minutes the unit continues to run and does not turn off properly. This is not a problem though. After 2 minutes, just turn it off manually. 3. It takes a while to charge. 4. Agree with others, the grip is slippery. When finished, remove the brush from the unit, rinse the brush and handle separately, dry them and put them back together. This way it wont make a mess but I agree a non slip handle would be helpful. Time will tell how durable this device is and how effective it is during our dental check up. For the price its worth a try. Edit After using it for a few weeks Ive downgraded from 4 to 3 stars. It takes too long to charge and the charge will NOT last more than 4 days. The charge should last a week. 2 minutes of data usage four times a day gives only 16 minutes of use but it takes 24 hours to charge. However, once its charged I enjoy using it and it cleans my teeth very well.

7/24/2024 5:14 AM My very old OralB finally died and to my surprise the battery died. I needed a replacement that was as easy to use as my old OralB. And I definitely didnt want something that had to do with an app on my smartphone. I thought it was this model, but I guess the word smart in the name was supposed to imply that it was trying to offer fancy and unnecessary features. Unlike my old OralB, which had a raised power button, this models onoff switch is recessed and harder to feel. If I havent used it for a few hours, for example. For example, between brushing sessions I sometimes have to press the power button twice to turn it on. Did it fall asleep There are 3 speed settings, that should be smart. Press once for normal, twice for slow, three times for fastslowfastslow. I really dont understand what the point of the other modes is, but the gist is that to turn off the toothbrush you either have to press the button twice to bypass the other modes, or hold it down. Unnecessary nuisance. Otherwise it works great, the high pressure indicator is probably a good idea, and its lighter than my old toothbrush, which is probably due to the switch from NiCd batteries to LiIon, which at least have as much battery life as my old toothbrush should have had.

Stiff bristles but a good brush

7/21/2024 4:47 PM have noticed that the brush head spins much slower when it is not fully charged, but this should not be a problem if you charge it every day. The brush head that comes with it has VERY hard bristles, especially the little yellow bits of floss. If you have sensitive teeth like me, I recommend getting a set of soft bristle brush heads instead of the one that comes with this brush. But like I said, it works well and I have not had any issues so far.

7/12/2024 2:24 PM have been using the Oral B Vitality Electric Toothbrush for about a month now, as recommended by my dentist. Although it does a very good job of cleaning my teeth and has some nice features, I have had some issues with this toothbrush. First, a little about me I am a single male in my 20s and have some minor dental issues. My bottom row of teeth 2326 is crowded, making it difficult to clean. I have been using manual toothbrushes so far, so an electric toothbrush is new to me. I also have a habit of putting the toothbrush back on the charger after each use. ProsOnce fully charged, its cleaning power is incredibly strong. Oral B uses a more than powerful enough motor that provides a fast rotating motion of the head. Once you turn on the toothbrush, you can immediately feel the powerful brush doing its job. I would even suspect that the recommended two minutes would be excessive. The toothbrush has a builtin twominute timer. Perfect for taking the guesswork out of how long to brush your teeth. It automatically turns off after two minutes. The bristles are well shaped and feel more durable than most toothbrushes, with small flaps of plastic or rubber bristles that provide a gentler cleaning action and are less erosive. The packaging is such that you can replace the original head when it wears out. Once fully charged, you can use the brush several times before having to recharge it again. The handle of the toothbrush is ergonomic, particularly due to the rubber coating. I did not feel like the toothbrush was going to slip out of my hand. Cons When I switch from a manual toothbrush to an electric toothbrush, I often take the toothbrush out of my mouth, especially when I need to spit. There are two big problems with this 1. The toothpaste will fly EVERYWHERE if you dont pull it out before you take it out of your mouth to spit it out. 2. When you turn the toothbrush back on, the timer will start over. I cant imagine most people having a problem with either of these things, and Ive gotten into the habit of turning the toothbrush off before I take it out. Take it out of your mouth and spit it out. But now, I dont have an accurate timer. I just have too much toothpaste bubbling in my mouth to leave the toothbrush there for a full two minutes. So the timer feature is essentially useless, despite being a key feature of this toothbrush. Suggestions allow the brush to pause the timer after its first activated. The timer can expire after 30 seconds, meaning the user is done brushing, or resume if its reactivated within 30 seconds. Im taking a full star off here because I cant use important features. The surface area of the hairs is small. I found that I often had to reapply toothpaste to the brush after spitting because I couldnt apply enough in the first place. Suggestion Increase the overall surface area of the hairs. Im taking 0.5 stars off here because the surface area is so small. Theres no indication of how much battery is left in the brush. Its a shame because I dont know when the charging process will be finished, meaning I can unplug the charger. This is bad because this is one of those vampire devices that drains power when youre not using it, since all batteries inevitably run out in standby mode and the charger is constantly charging the battery. I may update my review later by charging the brush overnight and then using it for a week and noting when the performance noticeably drops and when the cleaning performance noticeably drops. Suggestion It would be great if the toothbrush itself had a battery indicator, maybe 34 bars and a full charge. Im deducting 0.25 stars here because for batterypowered devices, knowing the battery charge and full charge is critical. The design of the brush head is a bit bulky. I often hit my other teeth with the back of the brush head when brushing. Suggestion I would like a thinner design here. Ive never had this problem with a manual toothbrush before. Im deducting 0.25 stars here because the toothbrush is very bulky. Overall, I would recommend this toothbrush. Its cleaning ability is significantly better than my manual toothbrushes, so I will continue to use this toothbrush. An entrylevel electric toothbrush is what you pay for. This is an ideal solution for those who are switching from manual toothbrushes to electric ones and do not want to spend a lot of money.

7/11/2024 7:09 PM have had a Sonicare electric toothbrush for many years. Eventually it gave up and I went online to buy a new Sonicare. Then I read reviews and realized that the Sonicare brand is not reliable anymore. They were reported to break after six months. So I did more research. After reading a lot of reviews, I settled on this model from Oral B and I am very happy with it. It does a great job and the charge lasts at least a week and a half, maybe more. It is light and thin, easy to handle and the timer function works great. I wish it had a travel head, but that is a small issue. I have had them for about two months. If it continues to work as well as it does today, it will be perfect.

7/4/2024 8:49 AM We bought 2 to replace the same toothbrushes that weve had for years and were slowly getting stale. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because I chose this one because the pictures of the brush head were exactly what I wanted. The model I received had a different shape that I didnt really like. The good news was that the replacement heads for the old brushes we had were a perfect fit because they were the same brush as our old ones. So I ended up throwing out the one that came with it and using the one I liked. But it does the job well and lasts a very long time.

7/1/2024 9:50 PM love this OasiSmile sonic toothbrush. With 50,000 vibrations per minute, my teeth feel professionally cleaned after every use. The 5 operating modes of Clean, Whiten, Massage, Polish, and Gentle meet different needs, while the 2minute timer ensures that your teeth are thoroughly cleaned. The rechargeable battery is impressive, lasting up to 6 months on a single charge. This durability is fantastic for everyday use and long trips. It comes with a USBC cable, so you can charge it whenever you want. The 4 brush heads included in the package offer great value for money, so the whole family can enjoy the benefits of ultrasonic cleaning. The slim design not only looks good, but is ergonomically designed, making it comfortable to hold and use. The waterproof design ensures durability, and the travel case is a great addition for onthego oral care. Overall, this sonic toothbrush offers exceptional performance, comfort, and value. It is fully waterproof to IPX7 standard. It has changed the oral hygiene routine in our family and has given us cleaner, whiter smiles. Highly recommended for anyone looking to improve their dental care.

6/30/2024 3:28 PM The downsides in my opinion are 1. The bristles of the toothbrush are too hard. It is unpleasant, especially for the gums. Maybe I will see if there is a replacement for medium bristles. I really dont like that to turn it off, you have to hold the power button until the toothbrush turns off. After about a minute, it should turn off. Maybe the cleaning settings should be on another button, not the power button. So strong Pros It holds a charge well and can be used several times between charges. It has a good charging station. It cleans my teeth. It is not elegant, but it serves its purpose. Would I buy another one Probably not, unless there is a significant improvement.

6/30/2024 8:47 AM am a dental hygienist so I am a big fan of electric toothbrushes. I currently use an OralB tip brush for home use which I do not use when traveling as I have to carry a charger with me which is impractical on long trips. I bought this battery powered brush for traveling abroad so I dont have to worry about adapters and chargers. For the price it works very well. In my opinion, small brushes that go around the gums like this one are the type of electric toothbrush worth buying. Larger heads also do not go around the gum line. The OralB head is similar to the rubber prophylaxis cups that dental hygienists use to polish teeth so this design is really the best. For home use I still prefer my excellent Oral B brush but this brush is great for travel.

6/15/2024 1:39 AM As a literal old hippie worried about the future, I never thought Id need a useless, semislave, plasticwrapped lithium charger. Well... times are changing, my aging teeth are shifting, and my breath no longer smells of hope and roses. This device has helped me age. I even bought one for my wife, who is now a convert too. One suggestion dont leave it on the charger all the time. It lasts about two weeks on a full charge, and tells you when it needs to be recharged. This improves battery life and may go some way to reducing the grotesque exploitation of lithiumrich areas. Hope dies last, and its easier to keep it alive when the deepest corners of your teeth are clean.

6/14/2024 4:20 AM love the way this toothbrush cleans. It really does make your teeth look like they just came from the dentist. I noticed a difference after just one use and cant wait to see what a difference a month makes. Cons All the reviews complain about water and a weird smell to the touch. Thats right. Its due to the design of the toothbrush. There is a hole in the head. When brushing, that part gets wet and there is no barrier to prevent water from getting into the handle and through the silver attachment area. After one use, I heard the sound of water in the handle so I took the head off and turned the toothbrush upside down. The water was shaking out of the brush. Its the humidity so I dont know if this will prevent the smell in the long run. I store the toothbrush upside down in a lipstick holder without the head so the water can drain and not get into the handle. Hopefully that will help and dry out the inside. There are a lot of steps to take care of your toothbrush, but I cant afford the most expensive one right now. If I had the money, Id buy a more expensive one. Its just not worth it to prevent water from getting into the handle when you can afford a higher quality brush that doesnt have this problem.

6/11/2024 5:44 AM Update I have had the toothbrush for almost a month now and I still love it. The battery has lasted 27 days since the first charge. I am not sure about the charge time as it was already slightly charged when I received it and the last full charge was overnight. This includes the whitening treatment which requires additional brushing every day three times a day for a few weeks. I also brush and clean my tongue for about 30 seconds longer each time. The promised monthly fee is definitely worth it so I am impressed. Also, the brush heads are a little firmer than I would like and am used to but they are still soft enough and easy to get used to. I am still happy with this purchase and the warranty, especially for the price. I have had the OralB for a few years now and when it finally came out the prices for the new models were of course very high. This guy showed up with them so I checked them out and decided to give them a try. I am so glad I did. It is quieter than my OralB, more waterproof, the battery lasts twice as long or longer than another brand, and I always prefer black over white. The brush heads last a long time, and I can always get OralB brush heads from my dentist when I brush and they will fit. Not many toothbrushes have a tongue adjustment these days, but this one does. You cant beat the price, although it has fluctuated wildly a few times, but the price I got was perfect. And I registered it for the 2 year warranty. I highly recommend this toothbrush.

6/9/2024 12:04 AM have several electric toothbrushes that plug in. I use the high frequency version most of the time, but my dentist told me I was missing some areas at the very back of my mouth and along my gum line. This toothbrush works like a manual toothbrush, rotating the bristles to clean my teeth. The bristles are a little stiff, which I like, and you can really reach the gum line. Also, the shape of the toothbrush makes it easy to reach the back of my mouth. I still use a high frequency toothbrush, but I added this one to get everything I need done. Also, it uses regular alkaline batteries, like the ones you use in a flashlight. They last a very, very long time and are no hassle compared to a batterypowered toothbrush. I like the idea of replaceable batteries. No need to throw away the toothbrush when the batteries are dead.

5/25/2024 10:57 PM replaced my broken SonicCare toothbrush with the OralB. I like the rotation better than the rapid rocking motion of my previous toothbrush. For one, it doesnt make a mess when you take it out of your mouth, and it doesnt rattle against your teeth when you move it around your mouth. I also wanted less clutter on my shelves, so I use the OralB with rechargeable AA batteries that I charge elsewhere and can put the toothbrush in a drawer. I find it easy to place the round head behind my back molars, which is also a nice feature. I find it a little harder to keep the toothpaste on the brush head. Overall very happy, good value for money and good performance.

5/19/2024 2:57 PM OMG I had NEVER tried an electric toothbrush until my dentist specifically recommended the OralB electric toothbrush. I had no idea there were so many options. However, I spent a GOOD week researching and of course reading test reports. Based on the recommendations of all the FANTASTIC reviews, this is the one we chose. I was going to use it yesterday but was late so I used my regular toothbrush. However, I just finished using this toothbrush and if I was wearing socks they would have fallen off. THE MANUAL BRUSH WENT INTO MY GARBAGE. I feel like I just walked out of the dentist NO EXCUSE. My only complaint is that I was definitely convinced that this was a great idea, especially when I showed my dentist his practice and he said Wow, AND it came with a brush. At least 3 of them were included. I used their app to make sure they found exactly what I received the day before yesterday. However, my OralB Vitality Floss Action only came with a brush, NOT a replacement as advertised. I dont know whether to text or call because this was definitely a HUGE plus in my decision to buy this brush. There are SO many different types of brushes to choose from. I had NO IDEA but the reviews on the replacement brushes were my main reason for purchasing. I am very grateful to OralB for my first electric toothbrush. It is AMAZING but NOT because of the misleading advertising because I could have bought the exact same brush at one of the MANY stores near me that I saw it at. However, the sticking point was the included replacement brush head. However, I got EXACTLY what I saw in the store. I could have gotten it MUCH faster and for about the same price before going back to my dentist, but... ANY suggestions on what someone else would do if they were in the same situation or got the same result would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much, ladies and gentlemen. I hope the same thing doesnt happen to everyone who ordered from my dental office. Because the most important comment from many of his fellow dentists was, Wow, great price, comes with a replacement head. So they ALL pulled out their phones and looked at the app. My dentist ordered 3.

5/19/2024 7:23 AM Before I bought a replacement for my old OralB Triumph, I looked at a lot of reviews. The old one was quickly losing its functionality and I was sad to part with it because it had served me well for many years. But I am very happy with this toothbrush. It uses the same brush heads that I used in my Triumph. This was important because I bought a lot of them a while ago. This toothbrush has three settings. The first setting is very powerful, much more powerful than my old OralB Triumph. I was surprised at how much of a difference it made. The second setting seems adequate, but still a little more energetic than my old one. And the third, I think, is the bright one, which I never really appreciated. It lights up when you apply too much pressure, which can be useful. On a full charge, according to the instructions, I get at least two weeks of use without having to keep it on the charger. This is a big relief compared to my old one, which had to be charged more often. It is thinner, especially at the brush head, which is good because it makes it easier to reach the back molars. The price was a big surprise for offering this toothbrush with all the qualities I was looking for. This replacement for my old OralB was better than I expected. Thanks for maintaining high quality products, OralB.

You have to provide all this information and the date you purchased the product before you can receive the discount codes. You might think the codes are for savings on official OralB products. So basically 10 off a third party product that I could tell you about. say less. And 5 off the subscription. Yes, this is just marketing hype as a smokescreen, so dont waste your time registering your product. There is no reference to a warranty or service period in the product registration process. They just wanted information about your marketing objective. ProsI have been using OralB rechargeable electric handles for at least 15 years. I recently purchased a Smart 1500 handle, my third handle in that time. My second handle I forget the model, but it was a cheaper version sold at Costco is finally showing signs of battery wear. It used to last 10 days on a charge, but not anymore. I have had it for at least 6 years now. I am VERY pleased with the OralB toothbrush handles in terms of durability, battery life, and overall functionality. 5 stars across the board. And I absolutely believe they do a better job of cleaning your teeth than standard brushes. My only criticism is the extremely expensive brush heads. I could buy 2 or 3 of the BEST manual toothbrushes in the world for the price of ONE OralB OEM head. So of course we look for generic knockoffs. Which I have had mixed success with. If the generic version fails, it is because the physical fit to the base of the brush is not as strong and stable. In my opinion, the OralB rechargeable electric toothbrush handles have helped me achieve a much better dental care than brushing manually. It is fast, convenient, and overall easier than brushing manually.

4/27/2024 9:12 PM had the old model of this brush, so I decided to buy a new one. I like the old model better. There is only one button on the brush, and to turn it off, you have to press very hard, because normal pressing just adjusts the intensity of the brush. I do not like this feature. I would prefer to have a stop button like the old one.

4/21/2024 2:28 AM have been using Oral B Braun electric toothbrushes for longer than I can remember and bought this toothbrush to replace an OralB Professional Precision 4000 toothbrush I bought in 2019. I used the Precision 4000 at least three times a day for 3.5 years. The only reason I replaced the old toothbrush was because the battery was dying and no longer held a charge. Braun says you cant replace the batteries but you can, although replacing the battery is a bit tricky, requires using a soldering iron, the battery costs about 12 times more than a new electric toothbrush, and you risk losing your toothbrush in the process, causing permanent damage. I replaced the old OralB with the new OralB because I still had the expensive new OralB replacement heads and because the Oral B had served me well and proven to be reliable. Braun offers a lot more models than they used to, and its really hard to compare different models because OralBs website is crap. Im very internet and computer savvy, and I spent about 10 minutes on their website and had a really hard time finding the information I needed. Some of their models require their own batteries, others even use the old NiMH batteries, and some use the new lithiumion batteries. Lithium batteries are the same type that are in your smartphone, so they should last longer, charge faster, and hold a charge longer. So the lithium battery was a key consideration when choosing a model. Im a little surprised that this toothbrush comes with the same model charger as the older NiMH model, but Im not an electrical engineer either. Brauns website advertised some models removing up to 100, 300, or 500 plaque compared to manual toothbrushes. Replacing teeth is expensive, so I went with the maximum plaque removal option, and this model was advertised as removing up to 500 plaque deposits compared to manual brushing. I cant back this up other than general comments that my dental hygienist might make at my next cleaning, but I trust Braun on this one. Again, the Braun website was next to useless when it came to explaining how the different models cleaned, which would allow for a more objective comparison, or even what battery chemistry the different models had. They did have a nice chart showing which models had Bluetooth and which didnt. I really dont see the use for Bluetooth. Keep in mind that you can get the OralB model for a lot less up front, but if you have to run it on disposable batteries and do a poor cleaning that will cost you more at the dentist, youre not saving any money at all. or in the long run. This toothbrush has 3 speeds which act like a 3 speed fan which is very inconvenient. I only use the daily cleaning speed but I still have to press the button 3 times to turn it off after cleaning which is a real pain. The package no longer includes a travel case with the toothbrush which I never used anyway. They have skimped on the instructions which used to be a booklet and are now a thin piece of paper with small, pale font which is a bit hard to read. The toothbrush is easy to hold and fits well in your hand so despite the shiny surface it doesnt slip out of your hand even when wet. This toothbrush also comes with a free brush head. Braun now offers 8 different types of brush heads and I think the included brush head is called a cross action brush head but Im not sure as thats just part of it and the black and white brochure only has the brush head names. The different types of attachments are listed, not the parts. Braun is pretty sloppy. I would have given the toothbrush itself a 5, but the website I chose it from and the shortcomings in the instructions knocked my rating down one star.

Also, yesterday when I was using it it turned off. I didnt press the button and the battery was charged. It turned back on when I pressed the button. It happened again today so again, I dont know. Otherwise it works well for running and looks good. Maybe I saved money on a rechargeable rotating toothbrush. I guess Ill update my review in a while to see if it gets any worse or not.

3/24/2024 4:52 AM Updated Post After using it for a few weeks and being completely confused because I didnt know if it was charging. Well, it is charging my toothbrush because it is still working. Even though there is no indicator light to indicate that it is charging, lets assume that it is charging. Now give it another two stars. 5 stars everywhere. I love it and I am so glad that I finally switched from a regular manual toothbrush to an electric toothbrush. Original Article I love this toothbrush. I finally joined the bandwagon and switched from my old manual toothbrush to an electric toothbrush. The only problem is how it charges or how do I know if it is charging. I kept putting it back on the stand and after 3 days, 3 days I noticed that the battery was dead, so I am asking how do you know that it is charging and is there a light or anything to let you know. I appreciate any help and hope I didnt receive a faulty charger.

3/22/2024 12:23 AM have been using an electric toothbrush for many years, but when my old one broke, I read a highly rated review in a major city newspaper that claimed it was a highend product. I can say that this toothbrush is the best I have ever had. The rotating vibrating brush feels better than my old electric toothbrush. My teeth are cleaner, which is my criteria for my 5star rating. Some people have commented that this brush is noisy. Well, they are right, but the cleaning is done through a complex motion that rotates and vigorously cleans your teeth. The transmission seems more complicated, and I expected it not to be as quiet, but who cares It really works.

3/11/2024 1:09 PM havent found a toothbrush that cleans better than the OralB. Im spoiled with my IO 5, which probably ruined this review. The IO 5 lasts about 67 days and takes up too much space. I love cleaning and went with the batterypowered version for the lower price. Its not as good as the IO 5, but its more than adequate for travel. It takes 2 AA batteries, which I replaced with Energizer lithium batteries for added weight and corrosion resistance. Its larger than the IO 5 and 3 times larger than the Philips travel toothbrush. It has a clunky 2minute timer, but no 30second warning. Its noisier than any other electric toothbrush Ive used. I tried the batterypowered Colgate toothbrush, which is great for travel, but doesnt do a good job of cleaning.

2/28/2024 11:43 PM My teeth hurt a little, it feels like Im brushing my enamel. Its also a little silly that you cant adjust the duration yourself, its always set to 2 minutes. I clean very conscientiously. If you rely on your intuition to decide when to brush your teeth, a machine wont be able to cope with it. Plus, your fingers will accidentally press the button and ruin the entire groove, I guarantee it. But I wont deny the advantages of an electric toothbrush. Its good value for money.

The charging port is a regular plug and often causes problems. The base would definitely cost a few dollars more.

2/27/2024 7:03 AM My dentist recommended a rotating electric toothbrush. I didnt want to spend a lot of money on a name brand toothbrush so I decided to try a cheaper one. I even bought a black and white onesie for my wife and I. Overall, I like using them. They are sleek and have a lot of features that I havent used yet. They come with a travel case that is very practical. I am only taking off one star because I dont like the fact that the tips of the brush are all white and therefore dont match the black toothbrush. But thats just a visual issue. Another issue I had is that the charging port is on the bottom of the toothbrush. This means I have to lay it on its side to charge it, which is not ideal. There is no need to charge it daily, but the port on the side of the handle would still be perfect. I would buy them again.

2/2/2024 9:09 PM EDIT Jun 28, 2021 I have had this brush for 1 year and 3 months now. The battery is worn out and not as powerful as it used to be. I feel like I need to put it on charge every day to get optimal performance. After a day it wears out and is fine, but looks cleaner when fully charged. I can get 4 days out of it before it is completely empty. Not happy. Still better than manual brushing. I will not be buying these again. Removed one star. ORIGINAL REVIEW This is the only brush head that goes around the back molars. I used to have a Sonic and while I like the vibration of the brush, the straight flat head does not contour the molars well. This one does. It is shaped like the ones dental hygienists use and rotates instead of vibrating back and forth. The bristles are quite firm and clean the gum line without damaging it. The motion is circular, which is good. I prefer the vibration of the Sonic, but it is too aggressive... Oral B is softer. I like clean gums without rashes. It is noisy. Much louder than Sonic. But when you take it out of your mouth, it does not spray toothpaste, saliva and water everywhere like Sonic. Another plus for Oral B. My dentist prefers Sonic, but the price of Oral B encouraged me to try it. I think my teeth are just as clean, even if the mechanics are not as sophisticated. Also, the ability to contour my back molars is the best thing about this product. I will not go back to Sonic.

1/18/2024 1:04 AM After my Braun broke after 15 years, I came across this electric toothbrush while looking for a replacement. Thought Id give it a try for 20. The quality is good for the price. The battery lasted more than 2 weeks. Even though I brushed my teeth about 3 times a day. Its just not that powerful. Reminds me of a kids toothbrush. So I finally gave it to my 8 year old and went back to Braun. If youre looking for a basic, nonpremium electric toothbrush, this is a great option. But if youre used to the color brown, you probably wont like it. That wasnt me.

1/14/2024 1:03 PM love OralB products. Its a great electric toothbrush. I like that it comes in two parts one for me and one for my wife. It also has a gum massage mode, which I use in the morning.

1/10/2024 4:57 PM have been using the OralB 1000 for about 10 years. Sometimes I would go 3 or 4 years without going to the dentist and when I finally went back I had no cavities. Before using the OralB 1000 I had a LOT of cavities at my last dentist appointment. 1000 and this one will get new ones. I love it. Even better than the first one. My teeth are still so clean after using it. There is even a safety light to let you know if you are pressing too hard on your gums which can cause them to recede. My gums were damaged long before I started using electric toothbrushes anyway. I have not noticed any significant gum recession in the last 10 years and now I do not get cavities every time I go to the dentist so I stick with it. I just can not get my teeth as clean with a manual toothbrush no matter how long I brush them. This is a miracle that will save you a lot of money on dental bills later on.

1/9/2024 1:27 AM This product was defective right out of the box. It appeared to have shorted out and was not getting any power. They replaced it with new batteries but it did not work properly. The unit was very hot when turned on. I burned my finger removing the batteries. I contacted OralB to arrange a return and was referred to OralB for a money back guarantee. I called the phone line, went through voicemail hell and was sold other products even though I made it clear I did not want the other products. It appears that in order to use my money back guarantee through OralB you will have to go through several steps including returning the unit at your own expense. Honestly, returning the unit was not worth my time, hassle or expense. I am disappointed that they did not provide me with a replacement for the defective product they sold me and instead sent me back to the manufacturer for a refund. The whole experience left a very bad taste in my mouth, both from the manufacturer and OralB.

1/8/2024 3:44 PM Pros Durability. After four months of use, the toothbrush is still working. Effective cleaning. It cleans teeth well and leaves them feeling fresh. Average battery life. With regular use, a single charge lasts about 11.5 weeks. Cons Tightening issue. A potential drawback is the risk of pinching your skin between the rotating brush head and the handle. This has happened several times and can be painful and irritating. No toothbrush case. Although I bought two purple units to confirm, neither came with the promised toothbrush case, which was disappointing. Overall Despite the tightness issues and the lack of a toothbrush case, the Bitvae R2 Rotating Electric Toothbrush is a good, affordable option.

best toothbrush, sorry, Philips Sonicare Diamond Clean

1/3/2024 8:12 AM wow i was pleasantly surprised. A few caveats i just got this so overall longevity or long term performance is not a consideration. i also just bought a sonicare diamond clean which i bought in 2018. unfortunately my sonicare purple diamond care toothbrush was so powerful that the vibration slowed down as the toothbrush got closer to my teeth. this all came out of nowhere until i tried to fix it and found out that water had gotten through the seal and ruined it. not lying it lasted me about 45 years even though it cost around 200250 at least thats what i expected. i was just doing some research and wanted to try out an oral b because of the different brushing technology. i found the oral b pro 1000 to be a fan favorite but based on reviews and further research the oral b smart 1500 seemed to be a better option with improvements but twice the price. The toothbrush cleaned my mouth and gave me a smooth, clean feeling that the Sonicare couldnt create. I can see how the rotating head is superior to the sonic brush and Im definitely glad I made that change. But its certainly not perfect and Ill compare it to the Sonicare. The Pro definitely cleans much better than the Sonicare. Ergonomics I saw that the new Sonicare had a rubberized handle but my Sonicare was just smooth with no rubber or grip and would sometimes slip out of my hands while brushing. However, the Oral B has rubber and little indentations on the back for grip like a golf ball and its pretty cool. Its also a little lighter which is really helpful. The 3 different modes actually work. Now, the Diamond Clean had about 4 or 5 different modes and honestly I never used them because I never saw or felt a difference. However, with the 3 Oral Bis, you can definitely feel the difference and I will use them. Visual pressure sensor as a precaution. No Bluetooth shenanigans. Less pressure is good. I come from Sonicare, where they teach you not to press hard when brushing your teeth. So this brush gives you the feeling that the brushing is working better the less you press, the cleaner the bristles get. It may be due to the angle of the brush, but you can feel that it cleans deeper and better with less pressure. No rust. My Sonicare had an aluminum bottom cap with the model names, brands, etc. It got rusty over time, but it can be cleaned with alcohol wipes. The Oral B has a rubber base, so you dont have to worry about that. No cleaning the cup or messing with loading it. The Sonicare had an induction stand with a thick glass cup that you put the brush in to charge. It was cool and the glass cup was thick and good quality. There were 2 issues. 1. The glass cup needed to be cleaned and wiped down occasionally. 2. Sometimes you had to insert the brush into the cup to start the charging process. No issues with the Oral B. You place the handle on the small protruding button where it fits into the handle insert. Lots of other attachment options. Noise. More details in the Cons section. Value for money. Honestly, for about 80, its a no brainer. The Oral B is a clear winner, with some drawbacks of course. Braun vs. Philips. Over the years of using a variety of products, it has become clear to me that Braun products are far superior to Philips products, whether they are shavers or brushes. Cons Some things may be a deal breaker for you. It does not come with a travel case. My Sonicare comes with a nice, albeit bulky and heavy, case that also charges the brush. No mode display when turning on and off. The Oral B does not have a mode display. You have to press the button each time to change modes. To turn off, you have to hold the power button without changing modes. The Sonicare is the opposite. You have to hold to change modes and press once to turn on or off, but it has LED indicators. Tom A lot of people mention this but dont explain it well. The Oral B has a real motor sound, so yes, it is louder than the Sonicare, but with one caveat. Yes, the Sonicare is silent because it is an oscillating toothbrush. However, I listen to YouTube while I brush and with the Sonicare I can barely hear the podcasts or news, whereas with the Oral B I can hear the podcasts more clearly, even though they are louder. For me, each brush just uses their technology differently and neither bothers me. The charge time for a full charge is 12 hours. I think the longer brushing time is a plus, but you might think its a minus. Since the brush is much smaller, it takes longer and you have to concentrate more on brushing. So it takes me about 3 minutes to switch to whitening mode after normal brushing. dirtier because it takes longer. You may have to empty your mouth more often to avoid splashing. Cons Both brushes dont clean your tongue, so I use the tongue scraper. Bottom Line The OralB Smart 1500 is the better choice in many ways right now, and the Sonicare certainly has some good features, but if you want the best price and key features, then go with the OralB. Choose the Smart 1500 over the Sonicare. and the OralB 1000 and above models. The older Oral B models have crappy Bluetooth capabilities. Ive also read a lot of reviews complaining that its hard to hold. Unless you have severe arthritis or a disability, I have to call this statement bullshit. The Oral B fits in your hand much better and is harder to drop. Also, many people complain that it is difficult to turn off. You either have to hold the button for a few seconds or press the button 3 or 4 times and it will turn off. The instruction manual is also not that difficult to read.

12/23/2023 12:55 AM There are many expensive electric toothbrushes on the market and I chose this one. It is a good toothbrush for cleaning. If you are using an electric toothbrush for the first time, also watch YouTube tutorials to learn how to use it properly. Otherwise, you can permanently damage your gums. One of the biggest problems is that it does not have a builtin indicator when charging to show if it is charged, full, low or empty, so I leave it charging overnight every week. ALSO I bought a pack of 10 extra brush heads for this toothbrush which ended up working great and were much cheaper.

12/22/2023 6:31 AM This is a reliable product that is as effective as the big brands but is much less expensive. I switched from a vibrating electric toothbrush and this rotating toothbrush is so much better. My gums love it. It has a 2 minute timer, displays 15 second intervals, replaceable heads and multiple speeds. It is USB rechargeable and lasts a long time, making it ideal for travel. It is a great product.

12/21/2023 10:27 AM recently purchased an Aneebart electric toothbrush and I have to say that I am very impressed with the quality of this product. Not only is it incredibly affordable, but it cleans better than any manual toothbrush I have ever used. The bristles are soft but effective at removing plaque and tartar, leaving teeth clean and smooth. The Aneebart toothbrush has a sleek and modern design, making it a stylish addition to my bathroom cabinet. The battery life is impressive, lasting for weeks on a single charge, and the timer feature ensures that I brush for the recommended two minutes every time. I also love the different brushing modes that allow me to tailor my brushing experience to my specific dental needs. Overall, I recommend the Aneebart electric toothbrush to anyone looking for an affordable yet quality oral hygiene device. You will not be disappointed with the results you get from using this toothbrush.

12/15/2023 9:58 PM This is definitely not the best product on the market, it has some design issues such as B. The build quality is cheap, you dont feel like you are using or holding a high quality product. The top of the loading device will hold excess water if not dried properly and will get covered in algae and dirt very quickly. Toothpaste will fly everywhere if you dont stop the machine while it is still in your mouth. It takes time to learn how to use them. Other than that, it helps and is better than a manual toothbrush. It seems that is what you get for this price. That is why I gave it 4 stars, go for a higher quality if your budget allows.

12/2/2023 11:02 PM used to have a much better quality toothbrush that cost about six times as much, but I chose the Oral B Vitality Electric Toothbrush because of its design and because I have about 20 of these heads that I bought in bulk. Two things are worth noting. 1. The onoff switch is a small button that sticks out. This makes it much easier to turn the unit on and off while brushing than if the button was recessed. I mean, plug in a quality Oral B electric toothbrush. If you have arthritis, this unit can also be turned on and off by yourself compared to higher quality models with a recessed power button. I recently had a flulike illness that left me incredibly weak, and not having to turn the toothbrush on and off made a huge difference when brushing my teeth. 2. The body of the unit is rubberized to provide a secure grip if your hands get wet or if you get toothpaste in the body of the unit. And again, why is this not a standard on ALL YOUR ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSHES The real downside to this cheaper unit is the performance. If you have used a toothbrush with multiple power levels, the highest power you can get out of it is the lowest power level among the other options. That is the only power level available. On the lowest level. There is no high, medium or low setting. This is a bit of an annoyance to me, but for the price and the features listed above, I always choose this toothbrush over other, more expensive models. I dont know why these basic features are so hard to find on Oral B electric toothbrushes. I guess if you have really sensitive gums, this will work just fine for you. I would really like to get myself a more powerful toothbrush. Update The runtime on this thing is terrible. So, I didnt charge this thing for 48 hours and after brushing my teeth for the fourth time, the motor started to slow down and stall, to the point where I turned it off and brushed my teeth only by hand. . So, if you travel and want to take this toothbrush with you, make room for the charger. Basically, you should keep the device plugged in at all times so that it has enough power to brush your teeth without slowing down.
